Is there a way to find the same type of information that woo rank provides via the pro toolset?
I am just learning SEO and exploring the PRO tool set and just received a woo rank report for a clients site and right off the bat I see that it is missing the robots.txt file, but I haven't found anything like that on SEO moz.
Thanks!

Hi Clay,
I know Vahe has already answered your question but I also wanted to expand on how I use Woo Rank Reports. Typically these reports are very useful for an initial "where are we" report for a website. They offer a really quick and clean summary on what can be improved upon (very nice to show clients too). Most of the issues or items missing can be resolved fairly easily.
SEOmoz is much better for measurability and long term tracking. The errors and feedback that SEOmoz will provide you with allows you to build upon those initial changes you've made as well as continue to tweak and monitor your site.
I definitely encourage the use of both alongside your Google Analytics and Webmaster tools! Good luck to you.

Vahe, thank you for that clarification, it looks like I will use both products, my boss handed a report to me and wanted to know if SEOmoz identified any of the stuff it mentioned, now I can explain that it is not the same type of service.

SEOmoz pro tools set focuses on the technical, onsite issues i.e. keyword targeting, link analysis and social. It provides in depth data and not top level data like woorank, In Moz pro you can also connect Google Analytics.

Sudden big drop in ranking - update, tech issue or penalty?
We are managing a website that was previously consistently ranking on P1 or top position on P2 and over the weekend (28th Jan) suddenly dropped to P5. What is the best way of ascertaining whether this was down to an update, a tech issue or a penalty? There are other pages on the site (sub-folders) which are still continuing to rank well on the site for similar kws. Regards,

Is there a tool that can rank multiple results for a single keyword?
Hi all, I have searched the web for a tool that can tell me if more than 1 landing page is ranking for a single keyword. I have noticed sometimes that a single keyword query can trigger up to 3 landing pages within the 1st SERP. I found an old bookmarklet from Lunametrics that might do the trick using Search Console data, but the link is no longer working. Any other pointers, or can Moz do this as well? Thanks!

Keyword Ranking History Chart
The attached image shows the Keyword Ranking History with big downward spirals on Aug 27 and Sep 24th. Yet it's also showing up within the #10-#20 row. What is the official technical reason for why it's in both places? My boss is asking and I'm blanking. 🙂 Just that the URL was found in both spots? B69toK9

Is the Moz Ranking Report correct?
Hello here, today I got my weekly report from Moz by email and it reported a strong decline of rankings on some of our major keywords. Then I went to check on Google personally, and instead I found my pages ranked much higher than reported by Moz (please note that my results wasn't personalized...). I also use a desktop program to check my rankings, and what I found personally on Google corresponded to what my desktop program reported me. Here is an example: my website is virtualsheetmusic.com, and Moz reported a rank NOT in top 50 for the following keyword: "moonlight sonata sheet music" Whereas we are actually on the 19th spot. Another example for the keyword "czardas violin sheet music", Moz reports NOT in top 50, whereas we are actually at the 5th spot on the first page of Google results! Why's this? Anyone can explain? Is there anything wrong with Moz ranking report?

What's the future of SERP Tracking? And... Is SEOMoz's SERP Rank Tracking in compliance with Google Adwords API Terms of Service?
My question is: Is SEOMoz's SERP Rank Tracking in compliance with Google Adwords API Terms of Service? Background: The reason I ask is because Raven Tools is now removing their SERP Reporting tool because it uses scraped Google position data. So, it looks like SEO's will either have to find a new rank tracking tool or find new ways to traffic the effects that rankings have on a website traffic volumes. For instance, there is a way to get the position a search results was in Google when it was clicked. We could create a secondary profile in Google Analytics for each client and use a custom filter to record the position that the keywords was in when the search result was clicked ( http://www.seomoz.org/blog/show-keyword-position-using-filters-and-advanced-segments ) Or perhaps we'll have to use Google Webmaster Tools' SEO Report to get data somehow ( http://support.google.com/analytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1308626 ) What are your thoughts on this? As you know, ranking data is still a great way to show clients if they are gaining or losing visibility in the search engines. It helps SEO's to report how effective their efforts have been. Because other ranking software companies uses Adwords API data to show the keyword search volume and advertiser competition of a keyword, they can not or eventually will not be able to use scraped ranking data any more. But, if another rank tracking tool out there doesn't need to be in compliance with the Adwords API TOS because they don't use that API to show search volume and advertiser competition, they can still technically provide their ranking data and not be violating any TOS, right? I'm just trying to understand the best way to continue reporting impact of organic keyword rankings on a website. Does the SEOMoz SERP Tracker comply with Adwords API? Is there another rank tracking tool out there that already is using Average Position data from the GWT SEO Report tool? Should we all just stop reporting rankings to clients altogether? Scott

Is there a problem with Weekly Ranking report this week?
I just received my weekly ranking report. 2 Up, 0 down, 8 the same this week. However, last week my page was #2 for "innovation conference" and this week you report "not in top 50." My first thought was penalty, but when I searched and removed personalization, we were still #2 for that search query. So, something must be wrong with the report - either we're 1 down or "not in the top 50 is wrong."
