-
Hi,
For some reason 2 pages on my website, time to time get noindex nofollow tags
they disappear from search engine, i have to log in my thesis wp theme and uncheck box for "noindex" "nofollow" and them update, in couple days my website is back up.
here is screen shot http://screencast.com/t/A6V6tIr2Cb6
Is that something in thesis theme that cause the problem? even though i

Craig thanks for your help anyways .

Strange one that, especially if it is only 2 pages that this happens too ! You should get on the wordpress forum and ask there, as that is probably the best place to get a quick and honest answer.
You could have been hacked and a dodgy file left on the website, although i do like wordpress, i believe it is vulnerable to such moves.

The thesis theme is up to date, plugins too, its some thing else that could be causing this problem,

Tony
hard for anyone to say whether it is the theme, or maybe one of your wordpress plugins or something could be causing this.
I take it you have the latest version of wordpress installed too, as there could be issues if you do not keep up to date with the latest versions as they regularly update.
Same goes with the theme, many themes i have regularly update them, which fixes bugs etc.

Indexing Issue of Dynamic Pages
Hi All, I have a query for which i am struggling to find out the answer. I unable to retrieve URL using "site:" query on Google SERP. However, when i enter the direct URL or with "info:" query then a snippet appears. I am not able to understand why google is not showing URL with "site:" query. Whether the page is indexed or not? Or it's soon going to be deindexed. Secondly, I would like to mention that this is a dynamic URL. The index file which we are using to generate this URL is not available to Google Bot. For instance, There are two different URL's. http://www.abc.com/browse/ --- It's a parent page.

http://www.abc.com/browse/?q=123 --- This is the URL, generated at run time using browse index file. Google unable to crawl index file of browse page as it is unable to run independently until some value will get passed in the parameter and is not indexed by Google. Earlier the dynamic URL's were indexed and was showing up in Google for "site:" query but now it is not showing up. Can anyone help me what is happening here? Please advise. Thanks0 -
Crawl Issues / Partial Fetch Via Google
We recently launched a new site that doesn't have any ads, but in Webmaster Tools under "Fetch as Google" under the rendering of the page I see: Googlebot couldn't get all resources for this page. Here's a list: URL Type Reason Severity https://static.doubleclick.net/instream/ad_status.js Script Blocked Low robots.txt https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/id AJAX Blocked Low robots.txt Not sure where that would be coming from as we don't have any ads running on our site? Also, it's stating the the fetch is a "partial" fetch. Any insight is appreciated.

Spammy nofollow links
Hello, One of our clients - a cleaning business - has a heck of a lot of spammy nofollow links pointing to their site. The majority of the links are from comments or 'pingbacks', most with the anchor text 'cheap nfl jerseys' or 'cyber monday ugg boots'. After researching the subject of spammy nofollow links, it seems there is a lot of uncertainty regarding the negative affect these could have on your SEO efforts. So I guess my question to the community is: if your site was suddenly hit by a plethora of spammy nofollow links, what would you do and why? Cheers, Lewis

Cross domain canonical issue
Hello fella SEOs! I have a very intriguing question concerning different TLDs across the same domain. For eg: www.mainwebsite.com, www.mainwebsite.eu, www.mainwebsite.au, www.mainwebsite.co.uk etc... Now, assuming that all these websites are similar in terms of content, will our lovely friend Google consider all these TLDs as only one and unique domain or will this cause a duplicate content problem? If yes, then how should I fix it? Thnx for your precious help guys!

Page has Noindex, nofollow, still ranks #1
Hi there, I have a question about a few pages on our site, whom has a no index, nofollow meta tag but they are still indexed and even rank number one in our market for the term. How is that possible or is it that Google just ignores the tags when they think it´s an error from our side? The url is www.drogisterij.net/kilo_killer and the keyword is kilo killer. We rank number 1 if you search from Google.nl Anyone have seen it before and know why this might be? Thanks in advance.

Have a client that migrated their site; went live with noindex/nofollow and for last two SEOMoz crawls only getting one page crawled. In contrast, G.A. is crawling all pages. Just wait?
Client site is 15 + pages. New site had noindex/nofollow removed prior to last two crawls.

Higher PA score not reflected in google results - Redirect Issue ?
We have a redirect on our site at www.subsidesports.com to www.subsidesports.com/uk. Checking both home page scores in OSE, the .com/uk site has a higher PA and other metrics than .com yet all Home Page SERPS listed in Google still show .com with the lower PA and other metrics although the DA score of course is the same for both. Are we doing anything wrong here ? As part of my troubleshooting performed a redirect check using <http://www.ragepank.com/redirect-check/> and received the following error report: http://www.subsidesports.com/index.html returns a 200 (OK) response. PR N/A http://subsidesports.com/index.html returns a 200 (OK) response. PR N/A Potential problems on this site 2 pages returned a 200 response. This indicates potential for duplicate content problems. Ideally, only http://www.subsidesports.com OR http://subsidesports.com should return a 200 response. Are these two issues related and perhaps answered my own question ?
