Finding page ranking when over 50-100+
-
How can I find my page ranking (what position i land on in google etc. for a certain keyword) when seomoz and other programs ive tried simply say "50+" or "100+" without giving me the actual number?
-
I understand that it really makes minimal difference whether im on page 15 or 25 of google search, and that either one is virtually traffic-less - however, if i was able to track my position (over 100+), i would at least be able to see if my rank/position was improving or not. Because thats a pretty important thing to know..
Does anybody else know of any tools that let you search your website position on search engines that give you results over 100+ ? It would be a very valuable thing for me to know.. Because ive been trying incredibly hard to increase my position.
Also, thank you for your pointers about my website. I will try to change the pages a little bit, although they are pretty straight-forward for the most part except for the difference between bulb numbers for my product. They all "look" the same technically, so its hard to make each page individually different. But ill try.
Other than that, what else can i try that will increase my traffic? Ive been considering using Attracta's TurboTraffic.. They submit to the top 100 search engines and re-submit your sitemap on a regular basis, as well as create blogs dedicated to your site and create valuable backlinks, etc.. It all sounds really good, but not sure if its worth it or not. What "seo improvement websites" would you guys recommend?
Sorry for all the questions, i tried to separate them by paragraph. Please try to answer all of them if you can!

My first guess is that Google thinks you have a ton of identical pages. When I look at three random pages for your products, they appear identical to me except for the name of the kit and the URL. Everything else -- title tag, all content, page layout, etc. looks exactly the same. The search engines really want valuable and unique content, and are going to have a hard time seeing the value in these pages.
When I put the text description of the 6000k light into Google, I find other sites with the exact same description. Again, the search engines are likely not finding anything here that they don't see on other sites.

All ive been able to find is the top 100, but im not in it.
I just wish i understood why im not even in the top 100! Ive been doing tons of SEO research (hence why im on this site) and doing everything i can to improve my ranking, but im still not in the top 100..
My website is www.SmartHid.com and some of the keywords would be "hid", "hid kits", "hid headlights", "xenon lights", and "xenon headlights", among others. But none of these show me in the top 100, and i just wish i knew what i needed to do in order to improve my ranking.
I suppose this is why i want to know my actual ranking (even if its above 100), so i can tell weather or not its improving, even if its high.. But i have no way of knowing since im not in the top 100..
Can anyone please take a look at my website, and feel free to check my sourcecode if you want, or use some SEO tools on my website, and give me your opinion on what i can do to improve my ranking and break into the top 100?

Agree - RankTracker from Link Assistant (SEO Spyglass people) will let you do "top 100" but really, if you're 86 or 66, who cares? A client might but not a client with a clue. Page 7 and page 9 are both virtually traffic-worthless.
You can also try http://whatpageofsearchamion.com/ for individual keywords - it's not a rank tracking solution like RankTracker is, but it helps with 1-offs.

Part of the reason you're having a difficult time finding those numbers is that it's usually not worth it for the companies doing the rank checking to go that far. With people not going past the first page or two of results, it's not too much a difference if you're ranking on page 11 or page 16 -- the traffic's just not going to be there either way for that keyword.

Try RankChecker by SEO Book. I'm not sure how far back it goes, but it's more than 100 results.

On-Page SEO Fixes - Are They Relative?
So, I'm implementing on-page fixes for a site that my company runs SEO services for (www.ShadeTreePowersports.com). However, I was wondering if there was a way to rank a pages' SEO quality, in general? As of now, it seems like the only way your recommendations can be consumed and altered is on a keyword basis. However, this seems be the reason I have a good amount of my F-Grades. Since my website sells powersports apparel and accessories, we cover a variety of applicable (but different) keywords like 'Motorcycle parts' or 'snow tubes,' because we sell so many different types of products. But, when I look at my F-Grades - SEOMoz is telling me my homepage is ranking poorly for a multitude of those pertinent keywords - but only because my page isn't catered specifically to each of them (IE: 'Snowmobile Parts' - 'Water Sport Apparel') But, with so many different types of products, catering to a specific one is impossible and would be detrimental. Is there a way to see how a page ranks, without factoring in those keywords? Or a better way that I can use these recommendations more efficiently? Thanks guys!

Drastic Difference between Ranking in Seomoz Keyword Ranking and non-personalized Google US Search
Hi everybody, for some of our keywords we saw a huge drop in ranking in the Seomoz Dashboard, yet when performing a non-personalized Google US search we still hold our old positions. Now, I am worried whether this is an upcoming Google penalty or just some bug in the latest crawl. Did anybody ever experience something similar and how could we find out if we were indeed penalized by Google (as we did some major linkbuilding campaign for these keywords recently)? Cheers and a major thanks for your suggestions, Tobias

Is it possible to see rankings on a graph?
Would it be possible to display Ranking data on a graph to show progress over a period of time? It would be great to be able to show a client how a certain keyword has improved over a time period.

Ranking better
Hello there, I am after some specific guidance on how to rank well for the keyword ‘Translation Services’. I have managed to get the site www.pstranslation.co.uk to page 2 of google UK for this key term. The difficulty is I seem to have run out of steam now on how to get higher rankings. After spending a considerable amount of time creating content and gaining links I managed to get the site from around page 15 on google uk to page 4 then to page 2. That’s where it seems to have stopped. I (think I) have got the onsite SEO pretty well nailed. I have got some good linkable content (http://www.pstranslation.co.uk/infog_languages.html,http://www.pstranslation.co.uk/language_resources_indus.html) and have plans to produce a more. Experience working within the language industry tells me that a top 3 position on page 1 for this keyword can very lucrative so my main focus of SEO is to rank well for this key phrase. There is a very good chance you reply will simply be get more (better) links and if it is that’s fine but is there anything else I can do? Am I missing a very obvious trick anywhere? Looking forward to your reply.
