Where is the directory list now living?
-
Hi - I'm trying to access the directory list that used to live at this address: http://www.seomoz.org/directories
But I am being redirected to: http://www.whitelistproject.com/
with no explanation. Where is the directory list now living?
Thanks
T.

Also very keen to find new location of list. has anyone got suggestions of alternatives that we could use?
-
So what is the status of directories list now?
-
It's still redirecting and the "image" holding page is not loading.... Whats the time scale?

Thanks for clarifying -

Hi! I'm going to quote from Ruth here in a post she made on Google+ that should explain things.
We've given the "keys" to our directories list/database to +Ian Lurie , who is collaborating with +Mackenzie Fogelson and Distilled to put together a more robust and scalable solution for directories. With everything else we've got going on, we decided that curating the directories list was beyond the time/resources we have to devote to it. I know this gang of trusted providers will do a great job with it! Other than redirecting the page and handing over the existing list, +Moz won't be actively involved with the project.

Hi Anthony
I can't offer the list, but I can offer the explanation, as I asked the same question about a week ago:

Syntax for canonical tag for a default page in a sub directory (not subdomain) of a web site?
I'm getting two "no canonical tag" errors for the default page of a sub-directory default page (www and root) - again NOT a subdomain. Since the page is not the root of its own site, I tagged it as -- I have tried without the default.asp, but the error remains. Been doing this for 24 years and don't remember running across this before.

Is your live site supposed to have rel canonical tags?
I recently started working for a company and got them to use Moz and I have found that our secure site and our live sites are creating "duplicate content" according to the Crawl Diagnostics feature. On our secure site we have rel canonical tags pointing to our live site. I'm not super familiar with rel canonical tags, but our developer says we're doing the right thing. Would love any insight you guys may have if this is actually duplicate content or not. Thanks so much!

Items listed based on size - Use "inches" or " " "
I sell Decorative nutcrackers of various sizes. At this time, I use the term "inches". I was looking at my competitor the other day, and when I did a search on his site, using the term inches did not provide me with a result. I was forced to use ex. "10" nutcracker" instead of "10 inch nutcracker". Is there a preferable usage for seo purposes. Thanks! my site: http://www.nutcrackerballetgifts.com/category/5/10-Inch-Nutcrackers.html his ite: http://www.kurtadler.com/Search?search=10"+nutcracker

Lots of 404s listed in Top Pages by Page Authority
Hi guys, I'm slowly getting to grips with all the aspects of using Moz.

Looking at my link analysis, under the tab labelled Top Pages by Page Authority, there's an awful lot of 404 pages listed. Are these pages which are being linked to (either internally or externally), and should I put a 301 redirect on all the pages listed? I've attached a picture... moz-screen-shot.jpg0 -
