Moz bar issues? Does anyone else have them?
-
At times it's unbelievably slow and other times it doesn't show any link data. It's not just on my computer, it's on other office computers too. I'm using Google Chrome and have tried removing the mozbar and reinstalling from the chrome bar.

Will do, thanks for the quick response.

Hi There,
My Moz bar is simply dead in my chrome. It didn't show anything. Just a black data field even if I am logged-in, in my Moz pro account. Need help please. Thanks.

Hey! I am Product Owner for MozBar. Would love to help you get to the bottom of this.
Can you confirm you are version 2.63? And also - have you tried it in Firefox? Do you see the same issues?

I was having issues with the Chrome extension for Mozbar as well, but seems to be working fine the past couple of weeks. It would either show that it was loading the data without ever showing me anything, other times it would just take a while and other times it would run normally. Like Simon said, a page refresh did the trick most of the time or dumping your cookies/cache files helps too. Hope you get it working again for your machines! - Patrick

I use Chrome extension and occasionally I find that the hide/show Mozbar switches itself back to 'hide' so have have to switch it back again. Occasionally no data will show but a page refresh usually solves that problem.

Why do my search results differ from MOZ's rank tracker
This is starting to happen a lot, i mean they weren't always an exact match but they differed by a few places. But now the gap between results I'm getting and MOZ's own rank tracker is quite large. For my keyword my page ranks on MOZ at 39 (it was 25 but has slipped down). Im seeing my page on page 1 locally and page 2 in incognito mode. Now I understand there are other factors such as browser history, cookies, am i logged into gmail etc. Thats why I asked colleagues to use Internet explorer and they have nothing to do with SEO so their history wont affect the search. They report seeing it on page 2, even colleagues in a different office in a different city sees it on page 2. I want to contact the department in question and share the good news that they've gone from none existent to 14th in what is a very competitive area. But MOZ's result has be second guessing whether I should. Any ideas why the gap between results is so large? Thanks

Weird back link showed in moz crawl
Some time ago somebody from this site: http://dianibeach.com created a weird link to our site which had on the end db. Later we have realized that the link was coming from every footer on each page. I believe that the back links from footer does not have realy value and even the more of them the less value. We have asked the guy to remove that links as I thought it might harm our site more then help. Now I I was very surprised to find this link in moz crawl error as second top page on our site in current index??? Can somebody explain how is this possible?? The most ridiculous thing is that when I click on that link it realy opens our site! How is that possible, what is it? This is the link: http://villasdiani.com/?db Thank you very much for any help with this

Moz keywords tool obsolete?
It looks like Google is going to encrypt all user searches, rendering entire sections of SEO tools useless like portions of Moz. What's Moz's reaction to something like this? http://blog.hubspot.com/google-encrypting-all-searches-nj

Moz reporting appropriate Canonical tag usage but no canonical tag on page !?
I take it this means that the page in question has been referenced via a different pages canonical tag but that the page in question itself does not have a self referencing canonical tag (and that it should do) cheers dan

How do you stop Moz crawling a page?
Hello, I have a contact form which generates thousands of duplicate crawl errors. I'm going to use to block Google indexing these pages. Will this also block MOZ from crawling these pages and displaying the error? Thanks!
