Campaign Keywords Vs. Rank Tracker
-
Hi Mozzers,
Was just wondering what the difference between the two tools are, and why they have independent keyword limits?
Thanks,
Nick
P.S
Apologies if this has been asked before or if I've missed some documentation, I had a quick search but couldn't find a similar question!

Thanks for the question!
For the most part, all rank-tracking tools are pretty much the same. Most tools out there incorporate two things: 1.) Choosing a search engine and country and 2.) Adding a parameter to show non-personalized results. the rankings that will be delivered will then include (only) those two factors.
However, the actual SERP that any person actually sees will be personalized and reflect his search history, the device he is using at the moment, whether he's logged into his Google account, his Google+ activity, his physical location (especially when searching on mobile devices), and a lot more that we probably don't even know.
So, it's important to know that any "ranking" that a person sees via any tool is always going to be an estimation. There are more than 200 ranking factors (as best as we can know) and no tool can incorporate all of them to present the exact same picture that Google sees -- chiefly because we don't know all of those factors and we don't know everything about that factors that we do know.
So, the actual ranking positions that a person sees will often not line up exactly with what a tool shows. Tools pretty much give you a good guess as to a ranking, but it's still just a guess. What I would recommend: People should care more about the overall trend than a specific ranking. If the tools show that rankings are slowly but surely increasing over time, then you're on the right track. It's a marathon, not a race.

Explanation of rankings summary - Rankings in top 50 and Keywords that have moved up or down
Question on the exact definition / relationship between the summary of your rankings in the top 50 and the number of keywords that have moved up or down for your selected time frame. To me, I would expect the number of keywords that have moved up (or down) to be more than the sum of any upward movement for the top 50 For example, if it says we had (7) keywords that moved up to 1-3 and (5) moved up to 21-50 and then to the right of that it tells me we have had 5 keywords move up - what does that mean

Can't add a 2nd campaign o_O
Hi there, Here is the thing.. I have an e-commerce website selling in Canada and USA. I created 2 different directories to get my website translated in both English and French. My first campaign is basically the English version of my website: https://www.nwseatcovers.com/en. I've configured the campaign with G.A, Social Media, targeted keywords etc... Now I'd like to create a 2nd campaign targeting my French version: https://www.nwseatcovers.com/fr. The only problem here is that it won't let me go through the whole "Add a Campaign" process. I've been able to access the "BASICS" tab where you have to enter the company name, website link and campaign name. However it doesn't allow me to go to the next step. As soon as I press the "Next" button, here is the message I have: "We have already started building this campaign. If you entered the wrong URL and would like to track a different site, please create a new campaign." When I created my very first campaign, I didn't have to wait, the campaign was available almost immediately. Does this message mean that it requires couple of hours/days to create my 2nd campaign? Thank you for your help.

New to MOZ, can't create a campaign.
I just started the free trial today, but I can't setup a campaign. Everywhere I go (http://analytics.moz.com/pro/home, http://analytics.moz.com/manage-campaigns), all I see is: Oops! Try refreshing the page, if that doesn't work, please click here to contact our help team. Is something broken?

Keyword Research
I am coming from SERPIQ and Raventools and they both seem to have something that Moz Analytics does not have. I can type in a keyword in either of them and it will deliver up relevant keywords and the search volume for them. Also I can enter a url and get all the keywords that a page is ranking for. Are these just things that are missing from Moz Analytics or am I missing something? They are both really important features to me.

Now I cant find the new one I set up, and when I try to re-input the info to set up the campaign it says that I cant because it already exists. Where do I find the campaign I already set up but couldn't activate??
