How to use icons for iOS, Android & windows home screens?
-
Hello All,
Which are the latest icons' dimensions for IOS, Andorid and windows home screens? Can you please guide me and way form implementing it?
Thanks!
-
Ok so this allows your website to be saved down to the homescreen as a bookmarked icon. Your phone should select the best resolution for your screen from the above dimensions.
If you are doing the same for an App - sorry should of asked it may be different depending on how your app is compiled.
EDIT : Ignore last bit in first message, looks like I pasted a bit too much

Home page duplicate content...
Hello all! I've just downloaded my first Moz crawl CSV and I noticed that the home page appears twice - one with an appending forward slash at the end: http://www.example.com

http://www.example.com/ For any of my product and category pages that encounter this problem - it's automatically resolved with a canonical tag. Should I create the same canonical tag for my home page? rel="canonical" href="http://www.example.com" />0 -
Unique use of nofollow tag
Love the community here. I just had a quick question about the using noindex, nofollow. We are a car dealership group that uses a website provider (cobalt). Since they provide the website they are the only ones with access to remove pages etc. We can add pages but only they can remove them. There are some pages we need to have removed but according to them they are unable to remove them, (I think the manufacture might mandate having some pages), anyway some of these pages literally have nothing on them, and there isn't really any useful content we could add to them. So we are using noindex on them to ensure that they stay out of search indices, but I am wondering if we should also use nofollow on them. If I understand nofollow correctly it just means search engines won't follow the links on the page, well for most of these pages the only links on them are the navigation, and since we don't plan on adding any content to these pages and we can't remove them should we use noindex and nofollow as a way to "remove" them from the site as much as we can?

Does google use the wayback machine to determine the age of a site?
I have a site that I had removed from the wayback machine because I didn't want old versions to show. However I noticed that in many seo tools the site now always shows a domain age of zero instead of 6 years ago when I registered it. My question is what do the actual search engines use to determine age when they factor it into the ranking algorithm? By having it removed from the wayback machine, does that make the search engines think the site is brand new? Thanks

Cant view campaign after windows 7 install
i am giving it a try here since seomoz support couldnt help me. Anyone had similar problems ? Earlier i was using W Vista (norwegian version) - did a clean reinstall of windows 7 (english version). After that i couldnt open anything related to the pro version of seomoz. When i am on the dashboard and try to open my campaign nothing happens and I just time out after a while(internet explorer). Tried with google chrome. Google chrome says after a while that this site has a redirection loop that is causing multiple redirections. Its advicing me to try to delete cookies (didnt help) also set security to minimum(didnt help). I then also realized that my google analytics didnt update last 2 days (after install). I am writing this now on my wifes mac. Seomoz and google analytics work just fine. What is wrong? anyone know ?
