How to have MOZ site crawl pre-launch
-
Hi,
Our new website is about to launch.
We would love to have moz.com SITE CRAWL our site before launch.
For issues like "missing meta description" and everything else that moz.com checks.
We would love to do it before we launch.
The new site is currently on a different domain than our live site.
example.com <-- this is our live site.
new-site.com <-- this is our "staging" server with the new site.
We have a long running campaign for example.com
Do we need to create a new campain for new-site.com ? Or is there some other simpler way?
When we launch we will switch the site from new-site.com to example.com .. example.com will be the address for the new site..
Any ideas or suggestions? best practices?
edit Forgot to say thank you for your help and input

Thank you!
Yes, we did create a campaign and it worked out fine.
Ofcourse the crawler complains about our site having meta noindex... But it found other issues as well! including a nasty redirect chain and a bunch of broken links!

Hi Ibbe,
Thanks for reaching out! Jo from the Moz support team here.
Each campaign tracks the url entered when it's created. So in order to track a new site you would indeed need to create a new campaign. You can do that here https://analytics.moz.com/campaigns/new
Also it's worth noting that your staging site would need to be publicly available for our crawler to reach and crawl it.
I hope this helps, please do let me know if you would like more clarification or have any other queries.
You're welcome to reach out to help@moz.com if you get stuck :]

Unsolved If you had to prioritize Moz features for those just getting started, what would be your top three?
If you had to prioritize Moz features for those just getting started, what would be your top three? I have my own thoughts here, but I am keen to hear what other Mozers believe.

Best Ways to Use Moz to Increase Rankings
Hello, I work for an online retailer and I have been using Moz for a few weeks now but have had limited success so I wanted to ask how I could better spend my time on this platform. I have been focusing heavily on the Page Optimization tool which has allowed me to rank high on the Google Shopping's Free Listings but it seems to have had little to no impact on the Google All search itself over those weeks. Perhaps I'm not utilizing it properly? I tend to focus on relevant keywords with high volume as identified by the Keyword Explorer tool. Alternatively, is there a Moz tool that might be more helpful? I can provide additional details or specific examples if needed. Thank you for your consideration,

What to believe Google's Comp or Moz's Opportunity/Potential graph
Hi! I'm newbie and I really don't know which info is best to dial in with the keywords. Google tells me that my keyword is in high competition, but Moz suggests that I have very high opportunity and potential with low difficulty with the same keyword... Maybe I need some sleep and come back later :-). Many thanks!

901 error code showing url back to back in crawl
Hi Everyone, I'm absolutely dumbfounded about this 901 issue (showing pages with our url back to back). Our site is hosted on Big Commerce: https://www.santabarbarachocolate.com When I look for these pages being crawled I don't find them. I've called BC for help and I can't seem to find a solution or where to turn as to how to fix the issue at hand or even if it matters. Please see below what the Moz crawl shows. Could this be related to Yotpo or some app we have running? Or does this even matter and does it have any influence on rank? Do you have recommendations or ideas? Thanks so much.
