Why do ignored crawl issues still count as issues?
-
I use Cloudflare, so I can't avoid the Crawl Error for "Pages with no Meta Noindex" because of the way Cloudflare protects email addresses from harvesting (it creates a new page that has no meta noindex values).
I marked this issue as "ignore" because there's nothing I can do about it, and it doesn't really affect my site's performance from an SEO standpoint.
But even marked as ignore, it is still included in my site crawl issues count. Of course, I want to see that issues count drop to zero, but that can't happen if the ignored issues are counted. I don't want mark it fixed, because technically it's not fixed.

Hi there!
Thanks so much for the question! Sorry for any confusion here!
Ignored issues should not count toward your total issue count once your next crawl takes place. When you ignore an issue, it will not be immediately reflected in your issue count but once your next crawl takes place, you should see the issue count reflect the removal of the ignored issue.
If you're finding that this is not happening and your ignored issues are still being counted, please send us an email at help@moz.com and we'll be sure to take a look and see what's going on!
I hope this helps!

When I crawl my site On Moz it says it can't access the robots.txt file, but crawl is fine on SEM Rush - Anyone know any reason for this?
Hi guys, When I try to run a site crawl on Moz it returns an error saying that it has failed due to an error with the robots.txt file. However, my site can be crawled by SEM Rush with no mention of problems with roots.txt file issues. My developer has looked into it and insists their is no problem with my robots.txt and I've tried the Moz crawl at least 6 times over an 8 week period. Has anyone ever seen such a large discrepancy between Moz and SEM Rush or have any ideas why Moz has this issue with my site?? TIA everyone

Moz only crawling one page of a campaign, please help
Today I set up a new campaign for a client, however the crawl has only found the home page and is saying that the URL is unavailable. The site is definitely live and the URL is correct. I have set up the campaign 3 times one with the full address (http://www.) one with www. and with just the domain name. All three of these have come page with one page crawled and "unavailable" above the URL. It is picking up the crawl issues on the page and showing domain authority but I don't know why it's not crawling other pages. Prior to setting up the campaign I did a site crawl and Moz found everything then, so I don't know why it isn't now. Please help. Thanks

Standard Syntax in robots.txt doesn't prevent Moz bot from crawling
A client is getting many false positive site crawl errors for things like duplicate titles and duplicate content on pages that include /tag/ in the URL. An example is https://needquest.com/place_tag/autism-spectrum-disorder/page/4/ To resolve this we have set up a disallow statement in the robots.txt file that says

Disallow: /page/ For some reason this appears not to work, as the site crawl errors continue to list pages like this. Does anyone understand why that would be and what we need to do to properly disallow crawling these pages?0 -
Crawling Website
How often does Moz crawl the website? I have a lot of high priority crawl issues but my web development team says that it fixed them. However, Moz still shows me that none of the errors are fixed.

I am new to MOZ, I set up one tracking campaign two weeks ago, I have tracked no keywords, I have done some keyword research for ranking difficulty and in two weeks I have already hit 50K pages crawled, I'm maxed out, is this common?
I am a startup and can't afford the higher plans yet. And even their highest plan is 600K pages crawled, which seems really low considering how lightly I used the tool and how quickly I hit 50K. Does anyone have any advice or information on how they use the tool on lower packages? Did I do something wrong to hit 50K pages crawled that fast? Does this pricing make any sense, it seems like an incredibly high price, I love the tool, any help is appreciated.

How do I update the crawl issues & Notifications?
I have a list of errors, most relating to missing meta descriptions. I have added a meta description to a page, visited the site and viewed the source, and the meta description is now there. When I go to analyze issues, the report it gives back for the link contains the same missing meta description as previously. How do I get it to update and realize the issue has been fixed?

Adding a campaign freezes in first step, any tips on how to resolve this issue?
I just subscribed to the 30 days trial and wanted to set up my first campaign, but it just doesn't work. I name the campaign, enter the URL and click Next >>. The page starts processing but even after 5 minutes waiting time, nothing happens. I just don't get through to the 2nd step. I already tried setting it up in Firefox, Chrome and Opera. It just won't work. 😕
