User intent

Hello,
For the keyword Normandy cycling, it seems according to the result that people are looking for the bike routes.
My question : can i rank indicating my favorite bike routes (personal routes) or doIi need to stick to what is already considered as the best biking routes in Normandy, the tour de Manche, the veloscenic, the velo Francette and so forth ?
Thank you,

If I was going after the keyword "Normandy Cycling". I would have a generalized map of the Normandy area that showing the route of numerous rides. That page would also have one or two paragraphs of teaser text about as many rides as I have articles for, with each teaser linking to a full page description of the ride. Each teaser paragraph would be paired with a small map or a great photo.
For rides that I don't have articles for yet, I would link to another website. But eventually, I would have more pages with full ride descriptions than anyone.

Thank you for your detailed reply. So I can compte with my own routes as long as I answer user intent from my understanding.

I'd write an article about my favorite routes, describing them in great detail with photos, quotes from well-know bikers (invite them to ride with you), a pdf printable map with an elevation change plot. Organize rides and invite everyone. Do a great job and your routes might become some of the favorites.
If I don't have content for the favorite rides, I would link out to a website that has them... I would likely write my own descriptions of those rides with map, photos, etc. - trying to out do what already exists on the web.

Will exit intent layer harm google ranking? What if third party ad in exit intent layer?
We plan to implement an exit intent layer.

For mailing list expansion and/or to display personalized third party advertising. Any negative impact this may have on google rankings?
Shall we limit exit intent layer so to show only to users who visited at least 2 pages on our site?
Shall we reduce size of layer on mobile?
Anything else to consider to minimize potential negative impact on google rankings?0 -

Is there a way to show random blocks of text to users without it affecting SEO? Cloaking for good?
My client has a pretty creative idea for his web copy. In the body of his page there will be a big block of text that contains random industry related terms but within that he will bold and colorize certain words that create a coherent sentence. Something to the effect of "cut through the noise with a marketing team that gets results". Get it? So if you were to read the paragraph word-for-word it would make no sense at all. It's basically a bunch of random words. He's worried this will affect his SEO and appear to be keyword stuffing to Google. My question is: Is there a way to block certain text on a webpage from search engines but show them to users? I guess it would be the opposite of cloaking? But it's still cloaking...isn't it? In the end we'll probably just make the block of text an image instead but I was just wondering if anyone has any creative solutions. Thanks!

Spellcheck necessary for user generated content?
We have a lot of user generated reviews on our key landing pages. Matt Cutts recommended using correctly spelled content. Would you perform a spellcheck of all already published user reviews or would you leave already published reviews rather intact and only perform spellcheck for new reviews before they are published? Since reviews have been marked up using schema.org, I am not sure whether posterior editing of lots of reviews may raise a flag with google regarding manipulating reviews. Thanks.
