Stupid question
-
I apologize for the dumb question, but in the SEOmoz toolbar, where is the page rank feature? I see page and root domain, but don't see the page rank.
Sorry
-
Page Rank is old new and its better to judge a site on its Page and Domain Authority. If you wish to see a websites Page Rank and also its MOZrank download an add on for your browser called 'Searchstatus.' It only works in Firefox and Seamonkey so make sure your using the correct browser. Having the SEOMOZ toolbar and the Searchstatus add on, you have many factors to take into consideration when judging a website.
Good luck with your ventures.

Thanks Ryan! The video isn't working. Bummer

I prefer the following articles on the topic. They are short and clear explanations.

If you really want to see more, you can take a look at: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/whiteboard-friday-domain-authority-page-authority-metrics
That link is for part 1 of 2 on the subject. If you are wide awake and ready to carefully follow along, it can work. It is a bit dry in my opinion.

Okay. So I need to learn and understand better what Page Authority and Domain Authority numbers are. Any videos to teach me
Do you have both toolbars running at same time?
-
PR is constantly updated within Google's system; however, it is only updated on our toolbars once every 3-4 months. It is generally not helpful to offer a fairly static measurement in a toolbar. As Bevelwise suggested, it's better to focus on PA/DA.
-
SEOMoz's toolbar focuses on their Page Authority & Domain Authority stats, which emulate the Google Page Rank score to a degree. I would recommend focusing more on PA & DA and not Page Rank. I also have the SEOBook toolbar installed and that is where I see Google PR. You could also use Google's toolbar.

Newbie Question about the first steps of website SEO
Hello. I'm new to Moz and know very little about SEO. I just finished going through the Beginner's Guide to SEO and I'm ready to take action. I plan on doing the SEO work myself. The guide says before doing keyword research, I should first answer certain questions about my business, such as: What types of my product are people searching for? Who is searching for these terms? When are people searching for these terms? How are people searching for my product? There are several more. How do I go about finding the answers to these questions? Thank you in advance.

Question about brand name in title
I know this has been covered a million times but I cannot find one related to mine as far as brand goes. We have a 3 word company name (brand) and all three words are excellent keywords. We rank decent in google and other search engines, but I did not know if I should put our brand all together, or keep them spaced since I am using the keywords in the title in other places. Our company name is ex. A B C Title page is as follows and I am showing where our company name appears in the title for our pages. I am just not wanting to stuff the keywords in the title, although it is hard not to with our brand. I do not want to give out our company name. Below I am showing where part of our name appears in the title of pages. The (C) in the first part of the title is singular. Our name and brand for C is plural. I hope you understand. After 10 years in business we are redoing some things to make it even better. Moz Pro has been wonderful tool for us, the last 40 days. Main Keyword B C | Secondary Keyword | A B C Should it be Main Keyword B C | Secondary Keyword | ABC Thank you all!

When using google keyword tool what type of match type do you find most helpful? broad, exact match, phrase? I know they all have their own benefits, but if you just want to test out which term gets more searches I'm not sure what the difference is between the exact match and phrase. Thanks!

Title tag punctuation question?
I know that exact matches in the title tag are more powerful but how much will using an ellipse the title affect my results? For example I would like to use "What is… Actinide?" instead of "What is Actinide?"

Question about keyword
I had read a post in SEOmoz about keywords. According to it, The best keywords are 1. High Volume (many searches/month) 2. Low Competition 3. High Value (large % of visitors convert) My question is how can i find about 2nd and 3rd point. High search volume is shown in many Tools including Google adwords, but how can we be sure to find keywords that are low in competition and at the same time high value.
