Regarding traffic from twitter, I want to track this url - http://www.ultraseo.com/white-hat-vs-black-hat/
and generated the following URL using URL builder -
Should i now pass it through a URL shortener bitLy or googles own. and tweet it.
Is this what i should do ? Please reply ...
where will i get a report in GA ( under which heading ? )
-
Thanks cabbagetoe.
If i tweet this link again, what should my tracking code be ?
-
Highlighted in bold the bit that has gone wrong.

If you are going to be tweeting the link more than once you would need to set up different tracking codes each time to be able to attribute the visits to a particular tweet.

Thanks a lot.
Can i know what the problem in my code was ?
Will it show no. of clicks to particular tweet ?
-
Your tracking code looks like it has got a bit mixed. I would recommend using the following.
Yes, just put it in a url shortener and tweet it.
In Google Analytics look under traffic sources > campaigns.

Twitter Robots.TXT
Hello Moz World, So, I trying to wrap my head around all of the different robots.txt. I decided to dive into a site like Twitter, and look at their robot text. And now, I'm super confused. What are they telling the search engines with /hasttag/*src=. Why don't they just use: Useragent: * Disallow: But, they address each search engine. Is there any benefit to this? Thanks for all of the awesome responses!!! B/R Will H.

This is a period we sell a lot of custom made photobooks. The weird thing is that we didn't do any changes to our photobook pages since 2013, where we didn't have these peaks.
So this is good news, but... What would be a good way to start investigating the reason of this increase?
I have a hard time answering the 'why' question. Thank you very much for your help! With kind regards, Yannick TiWWKX9.png0 -

Big hit to traffic a while ago, and slow recovery. Is there anything we've missed?
www.movehub.com We took a big hit to our organic traffic when we implemented an HTML form which included a list of every country in the world, twice. This rolled out onto every page on our website. And it got indexed by Google (webmaster tools showed our content keywords as being those from the form occurring 9000+ times on the site) We've fixed this and the content keywords are back to normal, however our traffic has not yet fully recovered. Is there anything on our site that you think could be sending spam signals to Google, or could be impeding our organic traffic growth?
