How many of my linked pages should I redirect (301's)
-
I'm moving my store to a new site and will have a much friendlier but completely different URL structure.
I used Open Site Explorer to find inbound links to 513 pages and have done about half so far.
The remaining pages have one link each at a page authority of 27 or less - but there are still 250+ of them. I have to manually view each old page, search for the product on the new site, and enter the redirect as there is no way to translate old URL's to new ones.
How important is it for rankings to redirect the remaining 250 or so pages?

Good to hear,
If you redirect on mass to the home page, they will likly be dismissed

Hi Alan,
Thanks - I'm definitely not redirecting to the home page - to the most relevant current content. It just takes time!

I wouldnt miss any, but i hope you arent redirecting them all to the home page.
Have a look at the link text and redirect to a page relevant to the link text and linking page, not the old linked page.

Losing links
my blog/website is at ocpatentlawyer.com. My reports are showing that I'm losing links. Is there a way to find out which links I've been losing to see if it is something that I should be concerned about?

Easiest Way to redirect 50 404s spread out randomly over 9400 pages
Hello, I've got about 50 404s I'm hunting down and redirecting (to the home page) on a client's site. There are no on-site links pointing towards most of them, they're just out there floating and indexed by google. I should be more specific - these URLs just pull up as a blank white page with nothing on it. I'm concerned that Google has these indexed and it is causing a problem. They're all Ecommerce category pages where the URL has been changed. site:domain.com is showing 9400 pages. Moz analytics is showing 4 404s Is there any faster way to track down all 50 404s than to manually go through the 9400 URLs in the SERPs after I type in site:domain.com? Thank you.

OK I'll try again.... Linking root domains and external links
I'm new to the crawl test tool, I think I know what is meant by external links and linking root domains but I need to check. If there are 500 external links and 50 linking root domains does that suggest the essentially those 500 links are coming from 50 root domains? If yes, then what would 1000 linking root domains and 100 links mean? Or am I completely wrong in my assumptions and if so, can somebody point me in the right direction? Thank you.

Why are my external links not showing?
I've had Pro long enough to get at least two weekly crawls and yet no external links are showing (which do absolutely exist). Why would this be?

On-Page URL
Hopefully I am missing something basic... I can't see how to specifically add and delete On-Page reports. It seems like running a report adds it but how to delete? Also, how does one change the URL for a report? I have re-organized some pages and can't seem the get the on-page report to keep my URL change. Here is what I tried. From the On-Page report card for a keyword I changed the URL and ran the test. Test runs ok but if I navigate back to the summary my old bad URL is still there.
