In Site Explorer My Blog.URL.com Shows "No Data Available for this URL"
-
Why when I use http://www.opensiteexplorer.org and I'm researching our Blog.URL.com's does the tool say "No Data Available for this URL"?
Example:
http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/links?site=blog.centurypayments.com

I've had blogs that haven't appeared over 2 OSE index updates, so just be patient. Because this update is going to take in to account 2 months of new data and 35 billion new URLs, it should appear in the next update (27th April I believe)
-
I second what Keri said. It has happened to me many times. You just have to be patient.
-
My guess is that it's probably too new, considering that Open Site Explorer hasn't had an update since February 27th. It looks like you probably started the blog after our last crawl. You'll likely see data when the next crawl is released at the end of the month.

Aren't domain.com/page and domain.com/page/ the same thing?
Hi All, A recent Moz scan has turned up quite a few duplicate content notifications, all of which have the same issue. For instance: domain.com/page and domain.com/page/ are listed as duplicates, but I was under the impression that these pages would, in fact, be the same page. Is this even something to bother fixing or a fluke scan? If I should fix it does anyone know of an .htaccess modification that might be used? Thanks!

Sites Blocking Open Site Explorer? Penguin related.
Last week I was looking at a competitors site who has a link scheme going on and I could actually check the links for each anchor text. This week they don't work at all, do you think they're blocking the rogerbot on their domains? Or is there a problem with open site explorer? http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/anchors?site=www.decks.ca If you're interested in the background, all the links are to instant-home-biz . com which then redirects decks . ca - it's a tricky technique. Pretty much all of the links are from sketchy sites like: airpr23.xelr8it.biz/ airpr23.anzaland.net/ airpr23.vacation-4-free.com/airpr23.blogfreeradio.net/airpr23.blogomatik.com/http://www.morcandirect.com/mortgages/resources2.php which I thought Penguin was supposed to catch…

Conflicting Data with Open Site Explorer & SEO Moz Toolbar
Hi there, Why is my SEOmoz toolbar showing me higher linking root domains than open site explorer? For example, for this site: http://thisisouryear.com/, the linking root domains in SEOMOZ show 1,015 and in open site explorer it says it has 35. I have noticed this for other sites as well. Which one is right? And why are they different?

Why doesn't Open Site Explorer recognize the link from my twitter profile?
When I run a report on my competition I'm seeing their link show up in OSE's report under the "Linking Domains" tab, but when I put my site in there, it doesn't recognize my link from my twitter profile. Any ideas?

Internal links not showing in Open Site Explorer
So I'm working on a law firm site and looking at the links for pages in OSE. For practice areas, the links to each practice area are in the left hand menu on every page of the site. Can anyone help me with this question: Example: http://www.comitzlaw.com/personal-injury/car-accidents.html When I plug this URL into OSE, it only shows one linking page, www.comitzlaw.com/practice-areas.html, yet there is a link to this on every other page in the site. When I plug in a random competitors page, www.lesagelblaw.com/Personal-Injury-Overview/Car-Accidents.shtml, it does show all the internal pages linking to it. Since I'm not using a flash menu or javascript, any ideas as to why no internal links are showing up in OSE? Even when I plug in the main URL for the home page, it only shows 4 other internal pages linking to it, yet there is a link on every page. What am I doing wrong?
