How can I update On Page Optimization Reports following 301 redirect?
-
A few weeks ago I ran the SEOMoz On Page Optimization Reports for one of my sites. At the time, the site homepage was duplicated .com/ and .com/index.html (I know!). The On Page Optimisation Reports I ran at the time obviously included both as individual pages. I've now corrected the duplicate issue with a 301 but the On Page Optimization Reports are still looking at the rankings for .com/index.html and therefore showing "not in top 50" for keywords where I'm actually ranking 1st - any idea how I can get the reports to update so they don't continue to look for .com/index.html? Thanks!

yes, the stop running weekly is a HUGE move forward. My biggest issue was grader was trying to grade pages for terms I did not want nor set up.
I think I put a call ticket in on this one alone 3 times LOL

Thanks Richard, I took your advice and here's the response from SEOmoz:
The good news is you can set the Web App to custom grade any URL for your keywords! To do this, follow these steps:
1. Hit 'Report Card' under the On-Page tab
2. Choose your Keyword and enter the URL you would like to grade. This would be the URL that your 301 redirects to.
3. After the report runs, hit "Run This Report Weekly" to automatically add this report to your weekly tracking. Here's a screenshot: http://markup.io/v/zammfq7rrcnv
You can also stop the "wrong" reports from running by hitting the "Stop Running Weekly" button on your On Page Report. Here's another screenshot: http://markup.io/v/8php8694gcen

I ran into this problem also. Put a call ticket in [click Feedback] and inform someone. The Campaigns are still new software and there are some bugs.
-
Aw, yeah you may have to make a new campaign, but don't take my word for it.. you've been here longer than I have haha. Good luck Tom
-
Yes, a few weeks have gone by so at least two site crawls since the 301 was in place.
-
You may be forced to export keywords, and start a new. I'm not 100% sure about this though. Have you given it enough time to update?

Unsolved Blog archive pages in Craw Error Report
Hi there, I'm new to MOZ Pro and have a question. My scan shows Archive pages as having crawl issues, but this is because Yoast is set up to block robots on these pages. Should I be allowing search engines to crawl these pages, or am I fine to leave them as I have it set up already? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

How to Optimize a Home Page?
Can anyone advise on what is the best way to optimise the home page? Many websites I see include the target(focus) keywords from other pages on the home page. Is this self competition? "Avoid Keyword Self-Cannibalization- It's a best practice in SEO to target each keyword with a single page on your site" If an e-commerce website has 4 levels in the SEO architecture. Home Page, Brand Pages(Category), Range pages(sub-category) and individual product pages. It would seem that the main keywords would be within the category(brands) level of a website. However many websites I see include these on the home page as well. Could someone please clarify this? I do not recall seeing the report card saying Self-Cannibalization when these keywords(category level) are listed on the home page. However I could be wrong, Please could someone advise on what SEO MOZs recommendations are for best practise on optimizing a home page so that it does not compete with category pages, or other pages on the website. Thanks

What are no followed links?
Hi there, probably this is so self explaining that I didn't find it described in the tutorial about learning to use PRO or here in Q&Α. But remember, there is no dumb question 🙂 What are the followed vs no followed links? I understand followed links as backlinks to my site, but what is a no followed link? Thank you in advance!

Onpage Optimization Tool - Optimize it? :)
I've been using your on-page optimization tool allot lately, I must say it simply is a great checklist to run a page through and it forces you to think about it a bit more and you notice stuff that you might otherwise have overlooked (read forgot) . But! ('cause there's always a but..) I have noticed a few issues: it could be optimized to recognize plural endings, given this is a hard one since there's allot of languages.. but It would be awesome if it did.. right? (just like the SE's do) I would be more then willing to help with the Danish. Since you already specify what version of google you wanna target eg: ".DK" it might not be all that hard to implement plural? now that we are mentioning other languages.. It would be equally sweet if it would see the correlation between Ø and OE, Å and ÅÅ and so on.. (scandinavian chars for those of you who don't know) again the SE's do For German letters I expect (not sure though, I'm not German, I speak it a bit though, so if your German feel free to correct me 🙂 that the SE's would see the letter Ö as an OE.. Ü as UE, Ä as an AE and so on. Why is the above important? well because that many still use those versions of the letters in URL's. Even though all browsers/mail clients now a'days are able to understand punycode.
