Duplicate Content for our Advertising Sites Showing in Search Results
-
Hello,
My company has a couple different sites (Magento Stores) for Organic, Adwords and AdCenter purposes. They are mirror sites of each except for phone number, contact form, ect.
Here is our organic site:
http://www.oxygenconcnetratorstore.com/
Adwords and Adcenter site respectively:
http://www.oxygenconcnetratorstore.com/portable/
http://www.oxygenconcnetratorstore.com/oxygen/The problem is, both the Adwords and AdCenter stores appear in Google SERP when you put in the exact URL. I have "noindex/nofollow" tag on both the advertising sites but they are still showing in search results.
I feel we are getting hurt for basically have 3 sites of duplicate content.
Is there a reason why the sites would be showing in search results even with the nofollow/index tags??
Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Sorry for the short response I was eating lunch. But now down to busnazzz.
Which site do you want the rank when you search? When you do a nofollow I believe the site is still indexed just not fully, meaning it won't grab the meta data.
But I searched both your adword and adcenter pages and they don't come up in my SERP.
When I google the organic site, it comes up with all the right links to your site.
So for now I don't see a problem, it might be your cookies/cache or logins. Use another browser. The only time i see the ...../oxygen is within the AdWords section.

OSE says "No Data Available for this URL"
I cleared cookies and those sites are still appearing in search results.

Check OSE and scoring for those links, clear your cookies so previous search is not recoreded(last visited).

Wordpress tags and duplicate content?
I've seen a few other Q&A posts on this but I haven't found a complete answer. I read somewhere a while ago that you can use as many tags as you would like. I found that I rank for each tag I used. For example, I could rank for best night clubs in san antonio, good best night clubs in san antonio, great best night clubs in san antonio, top best night clubs in san antonio, etc. However, I now see that I'm creating a ton of duplicate content. Is there any way to set a canonical tag on the tag pages to link back to the original post so that I still keep my rankings? Would future tags be ignored if I did this?

Duplicate Content - Products
When running a report it says we have lots of duplicate content. We are a e-commerce site that has about 45,000 sku's on the site. Products can be in multiple departments on the site. So the same products can show up on different pages of the site. Because of this the reports show multiple products with duplicate content. Is this an issue with google and site ranking? Is there a way to get around this issue?
