What is the impact of a panda refresh on a Pandalized site?
-
When a panda refresh hits and you have a pandalized site, If the site were to de-pandalized, would you see traffic back to pre-panda levels right away? Or any type of movement right away?
-
Yes, I have seen sites with no prior impact getting impacted as well as old-sites that were impacted previously getting an almost immediate traffic and rankings shift. Happens all the time, and the impact whether positive or negative grows as the update rolls out worldwide.

Schema - Measuring Impact
Hi All,I've got a question about measuring the impact of schema. We implemented FAQ schema on a few pages such that the questions and answers written on the page are now displayed directly on the SERP.Google Search Console now provides both total page clicks and rich results clicks (under Search Appearance). To get total clicks on the page, do you simply add up the total page and rich results clicks? Or do the rich results clicks represent interactions with the accordion, rather than a click through to the page? And if both clicks are represented differently, does that mean that the page is only sometimes being rendered on the SERP as a rich result?Any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks.

Site Hacked: Is it Faster and Better to 301 or 404 Irrelevant URLs?
Hey Everyone, So our site was hacked which created a large amount of irrelevant URLs on our domain; resulting in thousands of 404 errors and pages coming up for searches unrelated to our brand. The question is now that the issues have been resolved (and site re-submitted) would it be quicker (and more ideal) to redirect important 404 errors that see traffic, have links…etc. although not relevant or just let everything 404 out? We’re not as concerned with offering a relevant user experience because these are not in our demographic but want to avoid these pages convoluting our analytics as well as issues that might arise from Google thinking these topics do apply. Any help or insight would be very appreciated. Please let us know if you have any questions, concerns or we could provide further details that might help. Looking forward to hearing from all of you! Thanks in advance. Best,

Did I get penalized by Panda 3.9?
Hey guys, So I have been on Google analytics and I looked at Traffic Sources > Search Engine Optimization > Queries & Landing Pages From Tuesday until today I am showing 0 impressions for top queries when we usually average around 9000 impressions daily, I am seeing the same for landing pages. When I go into google webmaster tools I am seeing 0 data from tues-today. It doesnt say that I have 0 impressions, it is just not showing me those dates, almost like I am unable to see data that is so close to today. The weird thing is that traffic to the sites in question is higher or normal to what it has been the whole month which makes me think that this is some sort of glitch. If we are being penalized and indeed have 0 impressions via search then our traffic would drop tremendously. When I sign out of google and search for our search terms, I am seeing our site pop up right where they should be. When I use the Page Rank tool I am also seeing us in the SERPS where we should be. Wed morning when I came into work after SEOmoz had an updated keyword rank report, I saw some great gains for a lot of our keywords. I am super confused and hoping that I was not part of the 1% affected. There is no reason for our sites to be penalized, they have great authority, healthy traffic, and go by SEO best practices. We have great content! Has anybody ever ran into this problem? Could use some guidance!

No Link Data Available for this URL appears often. Are my sites too small to show up?
I am on the trial until Mar 5, 2012. I seldom get the info I want. Is it because my sites are too narrow a niche? I don't seem to be getting the data I'd like from your service. I'm trying to like it, but when I keep getting messages like this, it makes it hard to justify: "No Link Data Available for this URL appears often" Sample sites that I am unable to get data. I especially would like to know how many backlinks exist for each site. I paid someone to help me with them and I'd like to verify their work.: http://costaricadentistreview.com/ http://costaricadentistreviews.com/ http://costaricadentalimplants.org Any suggestions? Thanx Kurt Gross

Analytics tagging parameters effect on site SEO
One of the effective tools used in analytics tagging is the use of analytics parameters that starts with '?' or '#'. Example on site tagging: Main link: www.domainname.com./category/sub-category/ www.domainname.com./category/sub-category/?lid=topnav www.domainname.com./category/sub-category/?lid=sidenav All three links link to the same landing page, with an extra parameter. Using email or campaign tagging: www.domainname.com./category/sub-category/ www.domainname.com./category/sub-category/?utm_source=launch&utm_medium=email&utm_term=html&utm_content=getscoop&utm_campaign=hwdyrwm2012 With that we create many tagged links based on the campaign internal strategy. How do these effect indexing, and link juice? How do thy effect SEO in general?

Lets say I have a site www.abc.com and I rederect that site to www.xyz.com. If ABC.com is still ranking for keyword X and orgnically someone searches for X and they click on the ABC.com listing - In the XYZ site analytics (which is the target site) does it show as organic or referall, direct?
