Hey there
When we go to our webmaster tools there is a orange triangle. The issue is that Google's robot can not access our site.
Does anyone know why this could be?
Thanks!
-
No problem - private message!
-
Thanks guys!. We are checking it..
Kevin, please forgive my ignorance , what is PM?
Cheers!

After the first step and Gerd's second step, I would check to see if the dns and/or firewall settings are not the issue (I would also assume that your hosting account is already verified).
If you PM me with the site, I will gladly take a look. Good luck!

First stop would be to go to GWMT and then go to "Health -> Fetch as Google" and test the homepage and some public pages.
Have a look at the results provided by GWMT.

Hey Kevin,
No we dont...Which would be the next step?
Thanks again

Do you have a robots.txt file prohibiting indexing (we can start here).

Our clients Magento 2 site has lots of obsolete categories. Advice on SEO best practice for setting server level redirects so I can delete them?
Our client's Magento website has been running for at least a decade, so has a lot of old legacy categories for Brands they no longer carry. We're looking to trim down the amount of unnecessary URL Redirects in Magento, so my question is: Is there a way that is SEO efficient to setup permanent redirects at a server level (nginx) that Google will crawl to allow us at some point to delete the categories and Magento URL Redirects? If this is a good practice can you at some point then delete the server redirects as google has marked them as permanent?

Using GeoDNS across 3 server locations
Hi, I have multiple servers across UK and USA. I have a web site that serves both areas and was looking at cloning my sites and using GeoDNS to route visitors to the closest server to improve speed and experience So UK visitors would connect to UK dedicated server, North America - New York server and so on Is this a good way or would this effect SEO negatively. Cheers Keith

Connecting long tail keywords to pages
New to Moz and this forum, so be gentle. 🙂 I’m in the process of overhauling a generally neglected website and have just finished some research on long tail keywords. My question is, how do I implement these? For example, I’ve got a product “Acme Widget” which has its own page on the site (and ranking well for the product name itself). I have lots of long tail keyword sets which describe key benefits of the products – some of which appear in the product copy, others which don’t (perhaps because the thing that a user may search for is ugly/bad-English in copy). For the sake of argument, let’s say I have the following long tail keywords for my Acme Widgets. cheap red widget los angleles widget strong green widgets florida What is the best way to implement these? Do I need to simply incorporate the text into my main Acme Widgets page, or do I need to have separate pages which are highly targeted to each long tail keyword? The problem with the former is unnatural/ugly copy. The problem with the latter is that coming up with enough content to justify (and rank) a page on each keyword set would be quite a challenge. HTTP Vary:User-Agent Server or Page Level?
Looking for any insights regarding the usage of the Vary HTTP Header. Mainly around the idea that search engines will not like having a Vary HTTP Header on pages that don't have a mobile version, which means the header will be to be implemented on a page-by-page basis. Additionally, does anyone has experience with the usage of the Vary HTTP Header and CDNs like Akamai?Google still recommends using the header, even though it can present some challenges with CDNs. Thanks!

Best Google Practice for Hacked SIte: Shift Servers/IP or Disavow?
Hi - Over the past few months, I've identified multiple sites which are linking into my site and creating fake pages (below is an example and there's over 500K+ of similar links from various sites}. I've attempted to contact the hosting companies, etc. with little success. Was wondering if my best course of action might be at this point: A) which servers (or IP address). B) Use the Google Disavow tool? C) both. example: { http://aryafar.com/crossings/200-krsn-team-part19.html } Thanks!!

Hi everyone, I'm looking for business in other countries and launching some sites over there, but i was wondering does the location of the server / IP matter? For example:

I want to launch a website in Denmark, do i have to have webhosting in Denmark to rank better over there so Google sees i'm from there? Or isn't this neccesary? Thanks, regards0 -
Does server location impact SEO?
Hi, I am about to purchase hosting for my WordPress site which is primarily targeting the UK and wondered if server location still has an impact on SEO? Also can anyone recommend a reliable hosting provider with CPanel?

How do you know when to upgrade hosting to VPS or Dedicated Server from an SEO perspective?
From an SEO perspective, how do you know when to upgrade web hosting to VPS or Dedicated Server? Added: We have a Dedicated IP Address and plenty of bandwidth and disk space. We've done a lot of work on page speed. What we don't need is slow-downs due to the sharing space. Our business is seasonal with much higher traffic for three months of the year. I'm leaning towards moving it up a notch. What is the next level after this? And yes, our web host just confirmed that some of the things I want to implement can't be done because we are on a shared server. He recommended going to Dedicated Hosting. And finally: If we want to be absolutely positive that shared hosting problems won't affect us, and to customize, and also to increase speed, dedicated server seems to be the way to go?
