Internal links
-
hey guys,
these days should internal links within your site carry no-follow tags?
or does it really matter?
thanks!!
-
There is no way you should use no follow tag for your internal links... as Branagan said no follow tag should only be used when you are linking to the site you don’t trust.
Obviously you trust your own website and this is the major reason why you should do follow all link that are pointing back to your own website (to some other pages).
Hope this helps!

I agree with Branagan. Simply put, there's absolutely no reason or added advantage of doing that to your internal links. However, as Matt has said in his video about this topic, you could potentially do it for your View Cart page or maybe pages like Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, etc, but there's no need or advantage in doing so. So why bother ?
I hope this helps.

You should use nofollow only for linking sites you don't trust or endorse, sponsored links, etc. but not for internal linking, the PageRank sculpting days of this method are long gone, and you'll just burn your link juice and impair it's flow throughout your site.
If you need to exclude some pages of your site from being indexed just use the noindex meta tag.

I am looking for a software to keep track of the back links or link building
Hi Guys, I am very new hear. I just joined. I have a few websites that I need to manage. I am looking for a software that will allow me to manually add the links that I have been able to acquire. It would also be a bonus if it could search for the links to my site and to see if its still active. Because I have a freelancer working a few hours a week on link building and I need to keep track of the links. I am looking for something simple and good. Any suggestions? By the way, I used Raven Tools many years ago, and it had this feature. But since joining Moz, I don't want to be paying for 2 subscriptions. And I don't know if Raven still has this feature. Your suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. Ryan

Gathering links
There are numerous "Ultimate Guides" to linkbuilding, outreach, etc., and they are all written to teach you the art of linkbuilding. The only thing these guides don't tell you is that following them takes a massive amount of time and doesn't guarantee to get good links at all. We're all in online marketing, and maybe we online marketeers are familiar with linking to other websites, posts that we like, etc. and maybe that's why we can write these guides but in other niches it really doesn't work that way 🙂 I'm wondering what techniques/tactics/strategies you guys are using in less straightforward niches to get quality links to your blogposts. To give you an idea, we launched an article a couple of weeks ago targeting a very competitive keyword. The article got shared over 100 times on LinkedIn/Twitter/etc. and already ranking pretty good, but REAL backlinks are still missing. How to get people to link to that article?

Multiple Links from High Ranking Site Vs. Links from Multiple Domains - What's More Important?
I understand it is important to get links from many quality domains. Currently, I do have links from top domains (PR, Trust) and it I can get more from (high rank) pages on these same domains. Would it be better to focus on expanding my reach (find additional domains to link from) or to continue to build links from the current domains I have a connection with? What is weighted more? I realize doing both is important, but trying to figure out how to best use my time. Thanks! David

Link in the footer
we have a sponsored link in the footer of a website, and since that footer is displayed on each page of that site, it shows that we have thousands of links coming from that site. my question is : does Google consider this as spamming? and does it help us , harm us, or has no effect?
