"Oops! This doesn't appear to be a valid URL. Please try again"- Problem while creating campaign
-
Hi,
I have just started using SEO MOZ tool. I was creating my first campaign however I am unable to get through because it suggests that I am inserting non-valid url. How is that possible?
I tried with all these following urls:
www.lainasto.fi
https://www.lainasto.fi
lainasto.fiIt doesn't let me create the camapaign. Please let me know what are the issues.
Thanks!
BR

There's information at http://moz.com/learn/seo/redirection on how to do this. If you need additional help, the best bet is to create a new question, and include your website name, and if you have full access to the server. Thanks!

i am having this same issue but idk how to change my redirect

Hi Barun!
Crawlers will ignore 302-re-directs which you have setup for your domains. If you change them to 301-re-directs you should be able to validate the URLs
curl -I www.lainasto.fi
HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily
Server: nginx
Date: Thu, 06 Feb 2014 13:03:02 GMT
Content-Type: text/html
Content-Length: 154
Connection: keep-alive
Location: https://www.lainasto.fi/curl -I lainasto.fi
HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily
Server: nginx
Date: Thu, 06 Feb 2014 13:03:12 GMT
Content-Type: text/html
Content-Length: 154
Connection: keep-alive
Location: https://www.lainasto.fi/Hope this helps!

normally the correct syntax would be lainasto.fi but if you already tried that you should consider to contact the moz help team directly: help@moz.com

I’d like to set up a Moz campaign that crawls just the primary website, not subdomains
Is this something you could help with? (it either bombs or crawls everything, so I assume I’m missing something in the campaign settings, or it’s just not possible.

MOZ flagging urls as longer than 75 characters when they aren't
As an example: https://www.abthermal.com/3m-70-70hdt-self-fusing-silicone-rubber-electrical-tape.html Moz has flagged this as URL too long... but guideline is that happens at 75 characters or more? I count 55..?? or does the 75 limit have to include the domain? Thanks, Adrian

901 error code showing url back to back in crawl
Hi Everyone, I'm absolutely dumbfounded about this 901 issue (showing pages with our url back to back). Our site is hosted on Big Commerce: https://www.santabarbarachocolate.com When I look for these pages being crawled I don't find them. I've called BC for help and I can't seem to find a solution or where to turn as to how to fix the issue at hand or even if it matters. Please see below what the Moz crawl shows. Could this be related to Yotpo or some app we have running? Or does this even matter and does it have any influence on rank? Do you have recommendations or ideas? Thanks so much. Understanding my campaign data report
I'm very new to all of this and am having trouble understanding my campaign results report. Is there anyone on MOZ who can help with that?

Why can't I Ctrl + click on links on Moz any more?
I'm interested if it's just me that gets frustrated by this? I've just Ctrl + clicked a few links to open them in separate tabs and then realised that none of them had opened. I know it's been like this for a while. It's a usability issue as it goes against expected norms, and now I have to right-click and then click "Open in new tab" on each link, which is more time-consuming and frustrating. More and more websites seem to be losing their Ctrl + click on links ability (JavaScript often breaks it). I don't know if there's a Mac equivalent... Anyway, I hope that doesn't seem like I'm too angry. It just frustrates me a little and I hope it gets fixed. 🙂 Edit - I've just realised these are getting blocked by Chrome's pop-up blocker - but why? It's only an issue on a small number of websites.
