Is there a tool on Moz or out on the internet that does bad link checker
-
I'm still pretty new to this and I was wondering if there is a free software, one of Moz or free out on the the internet that allows you to check bad links. I've done a lot of link building with citations and directories that for my clients industry. I just don't want to add their website and profile to a bad/risky directory and it penalizes my clients. I've seen a few out there, but I need one that is respectable and reliable. Any suggestions? I found one called bad neighborhood http://www.bad-neighborhood.com/text-link-tool.htm.
Thanks Again,
Benny

Hi Benny,
Here is a link removal flowchart from BruceClay that can be handy while you audit the link profile of a web property:

Hope it helps.

Hi, there are no real short cuts other than a bit of hard work for checking you can use sites like https://www.majesticseo.com/reports/neighbourhood-checker as a quick guide. A paid option is link Detox but because its algorithm based it still required you to sort though it or you might miss a perfect site that was accidentally picked up for being "bad". Generally I try to avoid software like link detox because normally people use it to bulk check and it can do more harm than good.
You might find this Q&A very helpful - http://moz.com/community/q/find-and-monitor-possible-bad-links

I don’t see any reliable tool when it comes to bad link checking but if paid is an option for you then I have personally use Link Detox and it works great for me. Link Risk is another tool that I would recommend as I know the people behind that tool and they are amazing brains of the search industry.
Hope this helps!

I've had a followed link created from http://www.dubaisharks.com/ pointing to my website - http://www.yallarugby.com but in the reports it doesn't show that there is a link coming fro this website. The link has been active for a few months now, but still no record of it. Any ideas?

Moz vs google data conflict?
Hi there, I am doing an SEO site audit for a client(giveaway, and here is the problem: when performing site:domain.com on google --> 13,800 pages were found When I see this number it seems to be a bit too much compare to the links i checked on integrity(link check for broken links) which gave me a result of 1291. I digged in more into the Google results and saw hundreds(maybe thousands) of pages that are blocked by robots.txt. So I am thinking, ok this is it, thousands of pages can't be crawled by the search engines. Here is the big BUT though, then I check at my moz crawl (see attachment) and no pages are blocked by the SEs, and then look at the dups, only 23 recorded?? Is Moz not crawling properly the 13,800 results that google finds or is this some magical phenomenon happening here? I am really confused here that is why I need some help here! Thank you guys! Competitive Link Analysis Tool?
Hi, I ran a competitive link analysis report today and back came quite a few domains that 2 or more of my 5 main competitors link from. Is it worth me submitting links to these sites? And would i be best served submitting my homepage URL or submitting a brand page such as Creative Recreation Trainers? I want to target that brand but don't want to do it if my main URL is better? Any ideas? See below my report. | Subdomain | Subdomain mR | Subdomain mT | # Competitors | # Linking Pages | Link Acquired |

My tools have stopped working.
I just started my 30 day trial a week ago. Yesterday, the toolbar stopped showing PA or DA, and none of the tools will load for a page. I've tried logging back in several times and it hasn't helped.

Keyword Difficulty Tool
Is there a way to use KDT and include my own URL in the process so that I can see (and show my client) how things look competitively across all these nice dimensions? All is well if my client's site is in the top 10 - but if it isn't, how can I get the same set of metrics on a specific URL as it pertains to a specific keyword? Do I somehow to remember it used to do this? Or am I imagining things? I can't seem to get it to work this way. Thanks,
