Duplicate Page Titles Issue in Campaign Crawl Error Report
-
Hello All! Looking at my campaign I noticed that I have a large number of 'duplicate page titles' showing up but all they are the various pages at the end of the URL. Such as, http://thelemonbowl.com/tag/chocolate/page/2 as a duplicate of http://thelemonbowl.com/tag/chocolate. Any suggestions on how to address this? Thanks!

Thanks for the response! I already have the rel=next and prev added to the page but I'm still getting Duplicate Page Title errors in my dashboard for all of my subpages (such as http://thelemonbowl.com/breakfast/page/2).
Should I be setting a 'noindex' to my subpages to prevent this from happening?
Thanks again!

Tag pages, category pages, and the like often have issues like this. One of the most common ways I've seen of handling Tag page duplicates is to NoIndex them. While they serve a purpose for the User as a means of finding related information, tag pages tend to be of far less use as an entrance page and can create duplication errors in the form of duplicate title tag, duplicate h1s, and duplicate content depending on how truncated the post is on that page. You will also want to look at adding rel="next" and rel="prev" meta tags to handle pagination (if you haven't already).

What to do when Google automatically replaces the page title.
Hello Friends, Might you all are aware of the scenario when Google auto generates the snippets for search results. But nowadays I am seeing some changes like google is showing some specific words in the last of search results title for every page of my website. It looks Google is treating those words as the brand name. I have tried many things to solve this but unfortunately, nothing works for this. Does anyone see the same changes? Can anybody help me out with this or suggest me the reasons behind this.

Issues with getting a web page indexed
Hello friends, I am finding it difficult to get the following page indexed on search: http://www.niyati.sg/mobile-app-cost.htm It was uploaded over two weeks back. For indexing and trouble shooting, we have already done the following activities: The page is hyperlinked from the site's inner pages and few external websites and Google+ Submitted to Google (through the Submit URL option) Used the 'Fetch and Render' and 'Submit to index' options on Search Console (WMT) Added the URL on both HTML and XML Sitemaps Checked for any crawl errors or Google penalty (page and site level) on Search Console Checked Meta tags, Robots.txt and .htaccess files for any blocking Any idea what may have gone wrong? Thanks in advance!

Page Title Displaying differently on Google
Hi i am wondering why page title is display differently on google search. The combination of words that are being displayed on google are not on the page and the page title is simply "Camera Filters", however the page is showing as "our range of Camera Filters" (with the same capitalisation). http://awesomescreenshot.com/0cf4r09y27 I have optimised the age as best i can so it removes the OUR RANGE OF preface, however no luck. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers

Webmaster tools reporting spurious errors?
For the past 3 or so months Webmaster tools has been reporting 404 errors on my pages... The odd thing is that I can't figure out what they are seeing. Here is an example of a link they claim is a 404 antiquebanknotes/nationalcurrency/rare/1895-Ten-Dollar-Bill.aspx This is strange because it's a malformed URL. It says it's linked from this page: http://www.antiquebanknotes.com/antiquebanknotes/rare/1882-twenty-dollar-bill.aspx Which is a URL that doesn't exist. The bolded portion of this URRL shouldn't be there. Can anyone give me an idea what is happening here? Kind regards, Greg
