Is there a tool that will tell me how many visitors per day a website receives?
-
Hey guys,
I am new to SEOMoz and have setup my first campaign, so far very impressed with what is possible.
However I am trying to find out how much traffic a website is getting, as I know that people can be high up on certain keywords but are not actually generating any traffic from them.
Can anyone help?
Also I have a potential client who is ranking really high on alexa because of its american traffic, yet when I asked them they get very few bookings from americans. How can I view the UK ranking of the site?
Thanks
Andy

Thanks this is a good site, which I have used before. My problem is I am in the UK and compete doesn't cover us brits!

I have used Compete.com in the past for strictly getting traffic stats and it is a pretty good tool, however I'm not sure how in depth they report on the sources. Might be worth checking out for you.

Thanks bandicoot, unfortunately it is the latter. I have a potential client who is getting much more traffic than any of our clients, however I think the traffic is not quality traffic not sure if you have heard of sitesell.com?

Hi Andrew - Google Analytics is what I use to gauge site traffic for all of my clients. It's free and very powerful. The question is, are you looking for information on a site that YOU are managing, or are you looking for competitive info as to how much traffic another site is getting from a certain keyword? Google Analytics will obviously only help you with gauging traffic for a site that you own or are managing yourself for a client.

What tool can I use to find the top traffic-driving keyword for a batch of pages from multiple sites?
I thought I might be able to use Ahref's Batch Analysis for this, but that just gives stats on backlinks. I have a several lists of thousands of pages scraped for particular sets of keywords, but what I need is some way to automate fetching the biggest keyword that each page ranks for - biggest being the keyword that is estimated to drive the most organic traffic. Is there a tool out there that does something like this?

Pre Launch New Website SEO Best Practices
Hi All, I am currently mid development of a website (no testing page yet) and want to make sure I am doing my due diligence in regards to SEO. Are there best practices to always complete while a website is being built? If so what are they? I've gotten to the stage where I've read every blog on the planet and now maybe too much info. I am also focusing my Keyword Analysis around competitor research to write great copy from, but seem to be falling down a rabbit hole of way too many keywords. Is there agencies/services that would just be hired to do Keyword Research for my needs? Thanks a lot!

Any way to project what AdWords CTR will be?
Hi All, I've just agreed to undertake an AdWords campaign for a client, and I was wondering if there was any competent way to project an estimate for what their CTR might be before the actual campaign begins? I do know that the average Google gave in 2012 was about 2%, although I've read that a diligent content marketer can certainly achieve double digits. I'm just trying to figure out how to roughly quantify what CTR might be for the client before we get started, and if there was a way to do that **per keyphrase **that would be so much the better. Does anyone have a formula they use? Any ideas? Thanks!

How can I estimate a domain's overall organic search traffic - any tools?
Most of my analysis revolves around looking at rankings for specific keyword phrases that I've identified as important/relevant. But it'd be nice to be able to look at a domain and get a sense for how much organic traffic they get overall. If they're not ranking for the keywords I'm researching but have a lot of organic traffic that would be a nice signal to me that they are probably targeting other phrases more or have a big brand presence or something. Any suggestions? Thanks! Jeff Gibson
