SEO implications of using Marketing Automation landing pages vs on-site content

Hi there,
I'm hoping someone can help here... I'm new to a company where due to the limitations of their Wordpress instance they've been creating what would ordinarily be considered pages in the standard sitemap as landing pages in their Pardot marketing automation platform. The URL subdomain is slightly different.
Just wondering if anybody could quickly outline the SEO implications of doing this externally instead of directly on their site?

Sorry for the slow response to the question - we had a hiccup with the email alerting system and so I wasn't notified as quickly as I should have been.
A couple of resources that might help give you context on the general question about sub-domains vs. sub-folders:

- Recent follow-up showing that moving from sub-domain to sub-folder can result in positive movements
Having said all of that, given that you reference the fact that technical limitations have caused this situation, it's worth noting that creating the content on a separate sub-domain is clearly better than not creating it at all if those are the pragmatic real-world options on the table.

Should I use the on classified listing pages that have expired?
We have went back and forth on this and wanted to get some outside input. I work for an online listing website that has classified ads on it. These ads are generated by companies on our site advertising weekend events around the country. We have about 10,000 companies that use our service to generate their online ads. This means that we have thousands of pages being created each week. The ads have lots of content: pictures, sale descriptions, and company information. After the ads have expired, and the sale is no longer happening, we are currently placing the in the heads of each page. The content is not relative anymore since the ad has ended. The only value the content offers a searcher is the images (there are millions on expired ads) and the descriptions of the items for sale. We currently are the leader in our industry and control most of the top spots on Google for our keywords. We have been worried about cluttering up the search results with pages of ads that are expired. In our Moz account right now we currently have over 28k crawler warnings alerting us to the being in the page heads of the expired ads. Seeing those warnings have made us nervous and second guessing what we are doing. Does anybody have any thoughts on this? Should we continue with placing the in the heads of the expired ads, or should we be allowing search engines to index the old pages. I have seen websites with discontinued products keeping the products around so that individuals can look up past information. This is the closest thing have seen to our situation. How does putting a trial sign up code mid-blog post effect SEO? Do you think it will make my content seem less pleasing, therefor decrease the page rank??
I'm working on driving trials for our product - we have a number of blog posts that rank on page #1 of Google, and we get 2-3 trial sign ups per day from them. I'd like to put trial signup boxes about midway down each post to see if I can increase the number of trial signups that come directly from our blog. Do you think I can be "penalized" for this, since it's mid- blog-post content? Do you think Google will view this negatively?

Home page ranks for most keywords with no SEO
Hi Guys, The keyword I am trying to rank is on seperate page with its own Optimization in place. However the HOME page of website starts ranking for that keywords . The keyword is mentioned on Home page Just once in content description, that's all. What should be my ideal strategy. Deleting the Sub Page, will that improve the SEO of my home page and improve the Rank for that keyword ? Also I can see my Own YELP pages rank better than the actual website for few terms . Any way around this ? A Part from building links to page ?

Rotating Content Concern on Deep Pages
Hi there, I apologize if I'm too vague, but this is a tough issue describe without divulging too much of our project. I'm working on a new project which will provide information results in sets of 3. Let's say someone wants to find 3 books that match their criteria, either through their organic search which leads them to us, or through their internal search on our site. For instance, if they're looking for classic movies involving monsters, we might display Frankenstein, Dracula, and The Mummy. We'd list unique descriptions about the movies and include lots of other useful information. However, there are obviously many more monster movies than those 3, so when a user refreshes the page or accesses it again, a different set of results show up. For this example, assume we have 5 results to choose from. So it's likely Google will index different results shuffled around. I'm worried about this causing problems down the line with ranking. The meat and potatoes of the page content are the descriptions and information on the movies. If these are constantly changing, I'm afraid the page will look "unstable" to Google since we have no real static content beyond a header and title tag. Can anyone offer any insight to this? Thanks!

Duplicate content on sites from different countries
Hi, we have a client who currently has a lot of duplicate content with their UK and US website. Both websites are geographically targeted (via google webmaster tools) to their specific location and have the appropriate local domain extension. Is having duplicate content a major issue, since they are in two different countries and geographic regions of the world? Any statement from Google about this? Regards, Bill

Original Site content was used for submission to article directories
I had a communication problem with my writer and she used original unspun content and posted it to Unique Article Wizard. So all UAW does is take each paragraph and mix them up. So I searched a sentence on my site where the content came from and got back a bunch of returns for that sentence. My site wasn't the first result returned. I"m wondering how bad that is going to be for me. The links from UAW are going back to an anchor layer that then links back to this site. Can anyone tell me if I need to rewrite the content on the original site? That is the only way I can think to make that not an issue. Thanks

Ezine Articles - Copied Content on Site
One of my clients has a bunch of articles on the normal article syndication sites. They have duplicated these articles on their own site. My instinct is to implement on the offending pages of the clients site. Anyone with any experience of something similar? Is this the right way to go? Thanks in advance. Justin
