Rows are how we measure the cost of API requests. The endpoint and parameters determine the number of rows used per call. Some endpoints, such as the Final Redirect endpoint, will always return a single-object result and consume one row of data. Other endpoints, such as Links and URL metrics, may return multiple results depending on the limit specified in the request parameters and/or the number of inputs provided. Usually, each object in the result counts as a single row of data, but some endpoints can consume more than one row per object. Learn more about these weighted endpoints.

To help estimate your row usage, here are a few sample scenarios:

• Starter Small plan (750 rows/month): track URL metrics for 25 domains daily

• Growth Medium plan (120,000 rows/month): pull up to 100,000 links pointing at any target, track URL metrics for over 500 domains daily, and still have enough capacity to audit site migrations with Moz API’s Final Redirect endpoint or track your link acquisition campaigns with Link Status

• Advanced plan (4 million rows/month): perform backlink analysis and domain research at scale – with almost 130,000 rows per day, you could generate a Link Intersect Venn diagram of up to 500 links for six different domains, plus URL metrics with full daily and monthly histories for every metric for over 4,000 domains daily, with rows to spare.
