Which one - Article Directories or Web 2.0 Sites ?

I have lots of unique article and ready for spreading but want to know which one is more effecting in SERP. Currently i am adding articles to Ezine and Hubpages, please let me know your suggestion ?

EGOL, what is a signpost?
I know I am supposed to know everything, but that is why I have you!
Keep on own site... but share....signpost...?

This is what we do. Keep the content on your own site... but share where only a signpost pointing to your site will be present. This earns links, brings traffic, and reduces duplicate content risk.
-
I am doing that method but didn't see effect. Without good keyword position no traffic will come in my blog.
-
Huey,
As you have unique content, Why can't you create blog on your own website. And publish content on own blog instead of putting them in article and web 2.0 sites. After posting content in blog share them on social media. By that you will get direct traffic on your website.

You answered my question and your answer was posted by DiscoverAfricaGroup. This is a very low value way to go.

Creating links on different websites is the key... Submitting multiple articles to the same websites/Directories wont have as much of an effect as if you submitted to other websites.
I have also heard that links in article directories and web 2.0 sites are devalued by Google as they are easily "created" and not "Earned"
If i was you, I would search Google for websites looking for guest authors and submit your article to those websites.
Search this in Google and you should get a few websites to submit your articles too.
"keyword"+“Guest bloggers wanted” OR “guest blogger wanted”

yes this one - Ezine article better than Hubpages in terms of having an affect on SERPs?
I am actually posted one article on Ezine and Hubpage with the normal anchor/keyword text to boost my keyword position.. i see the effect, last time my KW position is 147 and now it is 25-26.. but don't know should i continue doing the same method or should i also do something else (please advice). I am doing everything manually not by any software.

Huey,
I think you are giving us a bit of a vacuum here. Can you tell us a bit more in terms of what you are wanting to affect in the SERPs? Or are you simply asking is an Ezine article better than Hubpages in terms of having an affect on SERPs?
Thanks,

Are directories still a valid practice? If so what are some of your favorite and most authoritative directories?
After combing over several competitor sites I have found many if not the majority of their links are from directories. I am curious to know if individuals/companies/seos etc. still use directories, if so what are some of the favorites?

Blog articles on website vs submitting to article submission sites
I had some articles created for a client. The site is on WordPress. I'm wondering if it is best to add the articles to the blog page of the website or if it is better to submit the articles to ezine articles. Or can I submit the same article to both places? Is there a strategy that should be followed generally speaking when creating content for the blog vs article submission sites? The goal is to increase the ranking for target keywords. I realize that the answers could take a lot of different directions. But generally speaking I would like to know, If I have an article where is the best place to add it to achieve better rankings for target keywords? Thanks for the help.

Myblogguest how to get your articles out and about?
Hi, I'm a member now of myblogguest.com website, I have paid for the pro subscription and have uploaded 1 article (basically to just see how the system works). I've got 15 articles a month which I want to pump out to blogs but has anyone got any tips using the myblogguest system to get blog websites to pick these up? I think I have been fair, 500 words of unqiue content with 1 anchor text link in the body, thats it. In an ideal world I would love it if I had 15 articles all being grabbed by 15 different blogs each month. By the looks of it, that's wishful thinking!

Press Release Sites for Backlinks
OK, I read a previous thread about whether people found press release sites useful (specifically I am considering a reputable pay for release service). I understand the knock on press releases in this digital age (namely that no one reads them and arguably never did . . . ), but I was interested in moving the discussion in a different direction . . . Do press releases services really help a sites performance based on increased backlinking? Is there a SEO benefit to PR services? My company is a local print company. I've done quite a bit of research on my local competitors, and specifically for a couple products we would like to dominate. The good news is that it looks like the hurdle would not be terribly high to really take over the web presence with a well planned and executed website/SEO campaign. My inclination is that for a relatively small company like mine (dealing with relatively small competitors) it WOULD benefit me to pay for the sheer number of backlinks a PR program would generate. The monthly cost is frankly about the same as the cost of this site, which OF COURSE I get value from (hey moderator, how about a couple extra MOZ points for that one!) Specifically, I am looking at this for myself, but feel free to expand the question to the broader topic.

Are press release sites useful?
Many of my clients release newsletters and other peices of content qualify as press releases. I have been wondering if people find that the press release sites such as PRleap or PRweb are useful and worthwhile? If so, which do you feel is the best? Is there any research on this? I am planning to record my results from these sites and perhaps make a Youmoz post in the future.
