Affiliate Program
-
How long does it take to get approved for the affiliate program? It's been 3 days so just curious.
-
Thanks for the feedback, Michael. I've sent it to our marketing department to review with our affiliate team. I'm really sorry that this hasn't been a great experience! We're definitely working to make this process better, so your feedback is much appreciated!

Thanks for the email but they don't answer their emails and they appear to not even care about their affiliates either.
I called your office and they told me that they outsource their affiliate program to a 3rd party company. Where I come from your affiliates are the ones that can pretty much drive the traffic and sales to your website. I approve affiliates same day and in most cases, within 10 minutes of getting them. The fact that it's been over a week and no reply to email and no status update tells me that this 3rd party company is doing a HUGE disservice to SEOMoz and their affiliates.
Of course this is all just my opinion...

Hi Michael! This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. Sorry to hear it's taking a long time to get approved for the affiliate program! If you email affiliate@seomoz.org, someone should be able to get back to you with an update on your status.
Cheers!

If I disavow the unusual links from google search console. Is it possible to reduce the spam score? Is MOZ associated with GOOGLE Data? Thanks,

Find ClickBank Affiliates
Hey everyone, just a quick question. I am interested in using the Open Site Explorer tool to find ClickBank affiliates (advertisers not merchants) for current ClickBank products. Is there a way to do this? What I have been doing: 1.) Run an inbound link search for current products 2.) Manually go through all the back links and pull links that could be from affiliate sites (and delete those that look like links from directories). Thoughts? Thanks!

Finding affiliate links with opensiteexplorer
Hey guys, I'm trying to develop lists of our competitors affiliates using opensiteexplorer using the following method When logged in to seomoz, go to http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/ Search for<rival company="" domain=""></rival> Select Show ALL links from ALL pages to PAGES ON THIS ROOT DOMAIN and SHOW LINKS UNGROUPED Click 'Filter' Click_ 'Download csv'_ Open the csv in excel and filter the Target URL column for any known part of the affiliate link (example ?a_aid) - this leaves you with a list of the affiliate links Filter out duplicates Is this the best process? I have a feeling I'm missing some as OSE truncates to 25 links per domain. It would be nice also if OSE could do the filtering for me. Any better ways to do this?
