Strategy for writing meta descriptions and titles for case studies?

My company is a B2B software company and we have A LOT of case studies. I was doing an audit and rewriting my case study meta data when I thought maybe there was a better way to write the title and meta description for these case studies.
My strategy thus far is to summarize the benefits our software had on the company the case study is about. Lots of 20% increases, reached 99% of this metric, saved 100k in first year. That kind of stuff.
I wonder if this is the best approach, or if maybe asking questions or just explaining that this is a case study for this company in this industry would be better for SEO.
What do you guys think? Pardon the redundancy but are there any case studies about seo for case studies?

I would also make sure to include generic terms for the industry or type of company that is in the case study. So if someone was searching for "saving money in the widget industry" you might show up because you included the term "widget industry". Just a thought.

Yes, there are channel markers within the case studies. I think that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the insight.

I think that's an excellent way to cover some of the conversion factors for people reading about the benefits of your software. Are there channel / vertical markers within your case studies as well? For example: X Company in the Public Sector increases compliance by Y%... If so, I'd work on including some of those factors that could help drive search if applicable: company type, vertical, channel, problem type solved, and so on.

Unsolved Google Ads - Subdomain on Sitelinks & Composition Change for Strategy Status
I have a basic query but could not find a definite answer on the internet. I am currently running a campaign for the main website of a big education brand and they also have a secondary learning website on subdomain, and I want to add sitelinks of subdomain to the campaign, but I am not sure whether it is allowed or not. The brand I am running ads for is https://www.rauias.com/ and the secondary website is https://compass.rauias.com/ branded slightly different in a subdomain, so should I add the sitelinks of Compass to the main campaign? Also one more silly question My Max Conversion search campaign gave me this status today. "Learning (composition change): Campaigns have been added to or removed from the bid strategy. Google Ads is now adjusting to optimize bids. 5 days left for learning" What does this mean exactly? And Why does it reenter the learning phase whenever I make a small change?

I have to say that I have been browsing, reading, learning and so on Moz for a long time now, and when I had a question to ask I was scared of askings so I don't look stupid but since I've asked my first question a few weeks ago and got a really helpful answer that helped me to no longer think like that. Therefore here is my question: What is the best way of writing product description and titles on Google PLA for product variation? Let's say you have a rope for example which come in different diameter and colour. Right... The title yes it should include variation such as Brand Size Model Colour Other Attributes on each individual product title but the question is .. does to description has to be different for each product so that you also include the attributes for the given product variation? I hope someone out there will understand my question and come up with a good answer. Thank you!0 -
Are there any recent studies of organic CTR vs. PPC CTR?
Pretty much the title. I am putting together a "game plan" for my CEO, where I would like to touch on the difference in CTR between SERP organic results and SERP PPC results. I've found a few blog posts that talks about PPC being responsible for 15% of all clicks, where 1-5 organic results are responsible for 68ish % and the rest being on 6-10 and page 2/3. However, I do not see any sources in these articles, which begs the question, where are these numbers taken from? Any suggestions? My own gut feeling (and SERP behaviour) tells me that these numbers might actually be super accurate, but since my business plan will most likely end up in the hands of our board of directors, I would very much like to back up my action points for growth, with actual sources. How would changing every title tag on your site at once affect SEO?
We are moving our website to a new CMS, and working with a vendor who would like to change the title tags from the current format to a breadcrumb structure. Our fear is that this may negatively impact the current optimization efforts in place. Our current title tags are a mixed bag of good, bad and neutral, but some have been optimized for best practices. Does anyone have any insight on the effect we would see if everything were changed at once, or any suggestions on how we could test this before we launch the "new" site? Thanks!

Changing Adwords campaign titles still mess up Analytics data?
Recently, Google announced an update in de Google Analytics Adwords integration that should wield out the ancient trouble caused by changing your campaign titles in Adwords. http://analytics.blogspot.nl/2013/07/new-adwords-integration-platform.html?utm_source=buffer&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Buffer&utm_content=buffer6bfb4 Two months have passed, but I still see double entries for the same campaign after a (minor) title change. How do I execute the following strategy.......on my own!?
Introduction to project Okay so in this short paragraph I am going to give a brief insight into the project I am currently working on and the aims and objectives of what I and my company aim to achieve. Tools Company Basically I work for a tools company who are about to launch an online website to sell and distribute their products all over the UK. Tools boring.... I know, but stay with me. I have been given the task of optimizing the website as well as creating brand presence and engagement through research, development and implementation of an engaging content strategy. Through the content I aim to add excitement, educate, and inspire the tools buying persona and ultimately bring excitement to an industry which lets just say 'doesn't exactly get the pulse racing'. In other words, I want to away with all the boring deals,promotional and and store opening based drivel (not literally all of it but you get the picture) and bring back some 'fun'. Bottom Line : Increase Sales Online I have done a large amount of research into the areas I need to cover. However admittedly I am relatively new to the world of online marketing and although I have a lot of experience in brand optimization and consumer psychology, I have a few questions to ask 'the experts' into the more practical elements which will help me execute and manage my project. I have split my queries into the different marketing areas I want to target. I do not expect anyone to help me with all, but any help would be greatly appreciated! Has anyone seen a recent study on % of clicks on Adwords vs Organic results?
HI, I am trying to find out what percentage of people click on organic search results on Google versus the percentage of people who click on advertisements. I have found many references online to studies that supposedly say 70-80% of clicks go to organic results and the rest go to ads, but I have never seen an actual study claiming this, let alone a recent one.
