    Hello

I am getting loads of 404 reported in my Crawl report, all appended with void(0) at the end.  For example:

    http://lfs.org.uk/films-and-filmmakers/watch-our-films/1289/void(0)
The site is running on Drupal 7,

Has anyone come across this before?

    Kind Regards

    Moshe

I think void(0) problem from WordPress theme if you use WordPress. Or, You can't setup perfectly javascript void(0) code on your template file.

See the perfect javascript void(0) link examples on this page of wikihat => Kickass Torrents

See the "click to open" button there.

          Hi Kane

Many thanks for the links.  The Google forum link seems like to be the direction.  I am not the developer of the site, but will forward the link to them hoping they will help.  (been 3 years since site went live).

          Many thanks

          Moshe

            Hi Dimitri

I am pretty sure that it is only the fact that something is producing links with void(0) at the end.  The link I used in my original post should actually be:

            http://lfs.org.uk/films-and-filmmakers/watch-our-films/1289/tongues

The MOZ crawl report is saying that the above page is the Referrer to the

            http://lfs.org.uk/films-and-filmmakers/watch-our-films/1289/void(0)

This repeats itself in many pages on the site.

            Many thanks
            Moshe

              Hi Moshen,

My guess is that somewhere on the site, someone created a pop up window or another load effect and they used void(0) to create a link. The better practice is to create a normal link and control what happens when it's clicked by using Javascript. You could also add rel="nofollow" to those links, but it's less ideal than the first option.

These explain the issue as well for additional reference:

              https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/webmasters/3ShUdX7_GqQ

This answer (http://stackoverflow.com/posts/134957/revisions) to this question.

                Hi there.

It seems to be that there is something wrong with javascript. Because it seems like piece of JS code. However, even if i remove void part, the page still doesn't exist. You sure it's just "void(0)" problem?

Moz-Specific 404 Errors Jumped with URLs that don't exist

Hello, I'm going to try and be as specific as possible concerning this weird issue, but I'd rather not say specific info about the site unless you think it's pertinent. So to summarize, we have a website that's owned by a company that is a division of another company. For reference, we'll say that: OURSITE.com is owned by COMPANY1 which is owned by AGENCY1 This morning, we got about 7,000 new errors in MOZ only (these errors are not in Search Console) for URLs with the company name or the agency name at the end of the url. So, let's say one post is: OURSITE.com/the-article/ This morning we have an error in MOZ for URLs OURSITE.com/the-article/COMPANY1 OURSITE.com/the-article/AGENCY1 x 7000+ articles we have created. Every single post ever created is now an error in MOZ because of these two URL additions that seem to come out of nowhere. These URLs are not in our Sitemaps, they are not in Google... They simply don't exist and yet MOZ created an an error with them. Unless they exist and I don't see them. Obviously there's a link to each company and agency site on the site in the about us section, but that's it.

                  WEbsite cannot be crawled

I have received the following message from MOZ on a few of our websites now Our crawler was not able to access the robots.txt file on your site. This often occurs because of a server error from the robots.txt. Although this may have been caused by a temporary outage, we recommend making sure your robots.txt file is accessible and that your network and server are working correctly. Typically errors like this should be investigated and fixed by the site webmaster. I have spoken with our webmaster and they have advised the below: The Robots.txt file is definitely there on all pages and Google is able to crawl for these files. Moz however is having some difficulty with finding the files when there is a particular redirect in place. For example, the page currently redirects from threecounties.co.uk/ to https://www.threecounties.co.uk/ and when this happens, the Moz crawler cannot find the robots.txt on the first URL and this generates the reports you have been receiving. From what I understand, this is a flaw with the Moz software and not something that we could fix form our end. _Going forward, something we could do is remove these rewrite rules to www., but these are useful redirects and removing them would likely have SEO implications. _ Has anyone else had this issue and is there anything we can do to rectify, or should we leave as is?

                  How to Fix 404 Errors

Hey Moz'ers - I just added a new site to my Moz Pro account and when I got the crawl report back there was a ton of 404 errors (see attached). I realize the best way to fix these is to manually go through every single error and see what the issue is... I just don't have time right now, and I don't have a team member that can jump on this either, but realize this will be a huge boost to this client if/when I get these resolved... So my question is: Is there a quicker way to get these resolved? Is there an outsourcing company that can fix my clients errors correctly? Thanks for the help in advance:) wBhzEeV

Meta Tag Descriptions not being found in Moz Crawls

Hey guys, I have been managing a few websites and have input them into Moz for crawl reports, etc. For a while I have noticed that we were getting a gratuitous amount of errors when it came to the number of missing meta tags.  It was numbering in the 200's.  The sites were in place before I got here and a lot of the older posts no one had even attempted to include tags, links of the page or anything. As they are all Wordpress Sites and they all already had the Yoast/Wordpress SEO plug-in installed on them, I decided I would go through each post and media file one at a time and update their meta tags via the plug in.  I personally did this so I know that I added and saved each one, however the Moz crawl reports continue to show that we are missing roughly 200 meta tags.  I've seen a huge drop off in 404 errors and stuff since I went through and double checked everything on the sites, however the meta tag errors persist. Is this the case that Moz is not recognizing the tags when it crawls because I used the Yoast Plugin?  Or would you say that the plugin is the issue and I should find another way to add meta tags to the pages and posts on the site?  My main concern is that if Moz is having issues crawling the sites, is Google also seeing the same thing? The URLS include:
                  sundancevacationsblog.com
                  sundancevacationsnews.com
sundancevacationscharities.com Any help would be appreciated!

Increase of 404 error after change of encoding

Hello, We just have launch a new version of our website with a new utf-8 encoding. Thing is, we use comma as a separator and since the new website went live, I have a massive increase of 404 error of comma-encoded URL. Here is an example : http://web.bons-de-reduction.com/annuaire%2C321-sticker%2Csite%2Cpromotions%2C5941.html instead of : http://web.bons-de-reduction.com/annuaire,321-sticker,site,promotions,5941.html I check with Screaming Frog SEO and Xenu, I can't manage to find any encoded URL. Is anyone have a clue on how to fix that ? Thanks

Site Explorer - No Data Available for this URL

Hi All I have just joined on the trial offer, im not sure if i can afford the monthly payments, but im hoping SEOmoz will show me that i also cannot afford to be without it! In my proses of learning this site and flicking through each section to see what things do. However when i enter my URL into Site Explorer i get the following message "No Data Available for this URL" My site should be crawl-able, so how do i get to see data for my site/s. I wont post my URL here, as the site has a slightly adult theme.
If anyone could confirm if i can post "slightly adult" sites. Best Regards

Does anyone know what the %5C at the end of a URL is?

I've just had a look at the crawl diagnostics and my site comes up with duplicate page content and duplicate titles. I noticed that the url all has %5C at the end which I've never seen before. Does anybody know what that means?
