Is there a tool that can tell me what the user intent of my keyword is and how I should present my page (the type of content users want to see it, what questions they want answered ?

It's getting harder and you may see a gradual decline for that ranking if it does not match the intent. Some queries are harder than others and will have mixed results so it always will depend on what you are seeing longer term for trends and ranking performance in your space.

Can I have a page with a different user intent that is what already ranking and still outrank the top results ?

Take a look at the top results manually for the query you target and you should be able to better understand the intent. Depending on your niche or vertical, pricing on queries in Adwords can also help as queries with a higher purchase intent (for example) will have higher CPCs.

Google auto suggest reflects the user intent or you can also use soovle.com to know popular search query related to your keywords.

Ranking Expectations and Search Intent Alignment
I've recently implemented the page optimization recommendations provided by Moz Pro to help our site rank for specific keywords on certain pages. It’s been about two weeks since we've added these URLs/keyword parings. The optimization scores for the targeted keywords and URLs are looking strong. Also, we've crafted these pages with keyword optimisation in mind. However, we have a couple of questions as we move forward: Ranking Expectations: Since our optimization scores are good, when might we start seeing improvements in our keyword rankings? We know that SEO results can take time, but we would appreciate any insights on a typical timeline based on your experiences. Optimization and Search Intent: While the tool’s optimization suggestions have been helpful in regards to giving us a score for a specific keyword, we’re curious about how this factors into search intent. How does this tool take into account variations in search intent, especially if users search using slight variations of the keywords we’re targeting? Thank you so much for your insight!

I have tried picmatch.ca but their support is not great and Tinyeye. Are there any recommended reverse image search tools recommended here on Moz? Cheers.

Hi there! We are currently evaluating data visualization / charting tools for rich content. Are there any open source solutions that work best in your opinion? Why? Some specific questions: Are static image / svg rendered images better than a javascript dynamic chart (canvas/HTML5)? Which gets indexed better? Is there any proven or perceived benefit to using Google Charts API that gives you an SEO boost? Are there tools for progressively enhancing HTML raw data tables to generate charts? How do I add https version of site to Bing webmaster tools?
I could add my site to Google Webmaster tools with no problems, but when I try to add it in Bing webmaster tools it just redirects me to what I already have. Everything is staying the same but the switch from http to https. Anyone else experienced this? This is what I just received back from Bing and it doesn't seem right- I understand that you switched to the https version of your site and you're now trying to use the Site Move tool. However, in order to do this, you must verify the https version of your site first. You cannot do this because it just redirects you to the dashboard. We thank you for reporting this to us. We've investigated on this matter and can see that you're already put a redirect from the http to the https version of your site. We also checked the /BingSiteAuth.xml file and this also redirects to the https version. At this point, we suggest that you remove the current website (http version) that is verified through Bing Webmaster Tool and add your https domain. When done, use the Site Move tool. Thoughts?

How does Google Keywords Tool compile search volume data from auto-suggest terms?
Hi everyone. This question has been nagging at my mind today ever since I had a colleague say "no one ever searches for the term 'presonus 16.4.2'" My argument is "Yes they do." My argument is based on the fact that when you type in 'presonus 16" - Google's auto-suggest lists several options, of which presonus 16.4.2 is one. That being said. Does Google's Keyword Tool base traffic estimates ONLY on actualy keywords typed in by the user, in this case "presonus 16" or does it also compile data for searchers who opt for the "suggested" term "presonus 16.4.2" ??? To clarify, does anyone have any insight as to whether Google is compiling data on strictly the term typed in from a use or giving precendence to a term being selected by a user that was listed as an auto-suggest, or, are they being counted twice???? Very curious to know everyone's take on this! Thanks!

Altering Breadcrumbs based on User Path to Product URL
Hi, Our products are listed in multiple categories, and as the URLs are path dependent (example.com/fruit/apples/granny-smith/, example.com/fruit/green-fruit/granny-smith/ and so forth) we canonicalise to the 'default' URL (in this case example.com/fruit/apples/granny-smith/). For mainly crawling bandwidth issues I'm looking to change all product URL's to path neutral so there is only ever one URL per product (example.com/granny-smith/), but still list the product in multiple categories. If a user comes directly to example.com/granny-smith/ then the breadcrumbs will use the default path "Fruit > Apples", however if the user navigated to the product via another category then I'd like the breadcrumbs to reflect this. I'm not worried about cloaking as it's not based on user-agent and it's very logical why it's being done so I don't expect a penalty. My question is - how do you recommend this is achieved from a technical standpoint? Many sites use path neutral product URL's (Ikea, PCWorld etc) but none alter the breadcrumbs depending upon path. Our site is mostly behind a CDN so it has to be a client side solution. I currently view the options as: Store Path to product in a cookie and/or browsers local-cache Attach the Path details after a # in the URL and use Javascript to alter breadcrumbs onload with JQuery When a user clicks to a product from a listing page, use AJAX to pull in the product info but leave the rest of the page (including the breadcrumbs) as-is, updating the URL accordingly Do you think any of these wouldn't work? Do you have a preference on which one is best? Is there another method you'd recommend? We also have "Next/Previous" functionality (links to the previous and next product URLs) on the page so I suspect we'd need to attach the path after a # and make another round trip to the server onload to update the previous and next links. Finally, does anyone know of any sites that do update the breadcrumbs depending upon path? Thanks in advance for your time FashionLux

This is really silly question to set custom crawl rate in Google webmaster tools. Any one can find out that section under setting tab. But, I have confusion to decide number for request per second and second between requests text field. I want to set custom crawl rate for my eCommerce website.
