Getting indexed by Google scholar
-
Often my Google Scholar alerts result in exactly what I think they will: scholarly articles published in academic journals. However, today I got this completely non-scholarly article https://www.t-nation.com/training/the-exact-reps-that-make-you-grow and I have no idea why Google Scholar is indexing this site. I've read up on how to get indexed by Google Scholar, and this website doesn't seem to have the necessary requirements. I'm curious for anyone whose clients or industry need to get indexed by Google Scholar, what has worked for you?

I get frustrated since google takes long to index my website article despite talking of the current trending hot topics such as best chatgpt prompts for academic writing and also super hot topic that is trending in the United states of america that is Chatgpt prompts for interview preparation.
The topics are trending because ChatGPT prompts have emerged as a revolutionary tool for interview preparation, harnessing the power of AI to enhance candidate readiness. By providing personalized interview guidance, simulating challenging scenarios, and fostering communication skills, ChatGPT prompts empower individuals to approach interviews with confidence and poise. As technology continues to advance, leveraging tools like ChatGPT prompts can be a game-changer in the competitive landscape of job interviews, helping candidates stand out and secure their desired positions.

Google showing different links in SERPs
Google search results are showing my site links in both URLs, "mydomain.com" and "https://mydomain.com". However the one with https is showing a favicon, and the other one is not. So i wanna keep the https one and remove the other one. I went to GSC to submit "mydomain.com" for removal and it said that URL will be deleted in ALL of its variations. So how do i delete the "mydomain.com" links? Should i just index the ones with https again? Would that work? Someone suggested me to do 301 redirect on all pages that are being displayed twice. But i am not sure if i need to do that since i am using squarespace, and both of the links lead to the same page?

G is for Google
So if you haven't heard already - Larry Page released a statement regarding the newly founded company: Alphabet. Crazy to think that the name hadn't even been used before for one but most importantly throughout his write up - there doesn't seem to be much clarity on what it is going to accomplish. What are your ideas/thoughts moz heads? https://abc.xyz/ - check it out. /Chenzo

Good rankings with Google but difficulties to enter on Top 50 with Bing and Yahoo?
Hi guys, I'm facing this problem with some websites that I'm trying to optimize for the search engines. I've worked on a good SEO on Page and I've had not so many difficulties to get good ranking results on Google. The problem is that I'm not having any result with Yahoo and Bing, even if I've sent the sitemap to the Bing Webmaster Toll and I'm keeping under control the possible crawling errors both on Google and Bing Webmaster Tool. Can someone please help me with an explanation?

Bing index
Hi Guys, This is an interesting one. I've recently been looking into Bing and trying to get my company's website ranking for relevant search terms. So I typed in site:www.sparkstone.co.uk and was shocked when only 13 pages were returned. So I signed up to bing webmaster tools and started submitting URLs manually as well as a sitemap. However i've just gone back to check expecting to see more pages being indexed. Sadly only the homepage has been indexed. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, Dan

Does Google index search results pages for other search engines?
I've noticed a lot of backlinks to sites consist of SERPS from other search engines that Google. A link to a query like: http://searcheninge.com/?q=apple for instance. Does Google index these links and do they give any value? Regards, Henrik
