Ranking going south
-
Hi - I have a site Simply Stairlifts and I don't understand it but I've followed all the SEO processes of cleaning the site and building links, but ranking just keeps falling - any advise would be very gratefully received .

The phrase "ranking going south" typically refers to a decline in a position or status within a ranking system. This can occur in various contexts, such as business performance, academic standings, sports team rankings, or even online content rankings. When a ranking goes south, it suggests that the entity in question is experiencing a decrease in its relative standing or performance compared to others.
In the corporate world, a company's ranking might go south due to factors like poor financial performance, negative publicity, or competitive pressures. For academic institutions, a drop in ranking could be attributed to lower research output, reduced funding, or negative student feedback. In sports, a team's ranking might decline due to a series of losses or underperformance.
To address a ranking going south, it's crucial to identify the underlying causes and implement corrective measures. This might involve strategic changes, improved performance metrics, enhanced quality of output, or better stakeholder engagement. Maintaining a proactive approach and continuously monitoring key performance indicators can help in mitigating the impact of a declining ranking and potentially reversing the trend.

There are a few potential reasons why your site's rankings may be declining despite following SEO best practices. Google's algorithms change frequently, so previous optimizations may no longer be as effective. Technical problems like site speed, broken links or thin content issues could also negatively impact rankings. I would recommend a full SEO audit to diagnose and address any site problems. As you continue optimizing content and building high-quality backlinks over time, search visibility and rankings should improve. Utilizing an affordable marketing services provider for ongoing recommendations can help stabilize and regain lost organic search positions.

Query on Ranking Expectations and Search Intent Alignment
I've recently implemented the page optimization recommendations provided by Moz Pro to help our site rank for specific keywords on certain pages. It’s been about a week since we made these changes, and we’re happy to report that our optimization scores for the targeted keywords and URLs are looking strong. I did create these pages with our intended keywords in mind. However, two questions about the page optimization tool: Ranking Expectations: Since our optimization scores are good, when might we start seeing improvements in our keyword rankings? We know that SEO results can take time, but we would appreciate any insights on a typical timeline based on your experiences. Optimization and Search Intent: While the tool’s optimization suggestions have been helpful, we’re curious about how they factor in search intent. How does Moz Pro’s advice take into account variations in search intent, especially if users search using slight variations of the keywords we’re targeting?

Only my homepage ranks for my keywords, should I delete my other pages?
I am an independent artist and all of my business inquiries come through my website (www.ChrisCarlsonArt.com). Over the last 6 months I have been trying to get pages other than my homepage to rank for my keywords, but I haven't made any progress. I worry that I am cannibalizing my keywords since my pages all have similar information. Should I just delete my other pages and focus on ranking my homepage? Also, if I delete my other pages will that have a negative impact on my rankings?

Chat GPT
I want to get your thoughts on Chat GPT for creating articles on my site to drive SEO. Does Google approve of this type of content or not? I seems quite good quality - I suppose a key question also is: is it duplicate content? I have used on Propress website and also on blog sites so need to understand if this will reduce my rankings. Thanks
