Domain Authority Not Updating?
-
Anyone know why DA hasn't been refreshing? Last one was in August, then it said the next update would be 6th September, then 8th October, 15th October, but nothing, and now 17th November.
Nothing too important, just curiousThanks,

Everyone,
A very similar question was asked after this one and got a different answer from a different Mozer. See https://moz.com/community/q/oct-14-2015-mozscape-update-none-of-da-are-changed. Check there for the latest update.
Basically, " I just confirmed with our engineers the DA/PA is from the last index. There will be a post providing more details, hopefully very soon in the Q&A. " That was ~3 hours ago - 5 pm EST 10/16/15.

Hey Everyone!
The DA that shows in campaigns will take about 24-48 hours to appear. You can search directly in OSE to see what we have in the current index. If you have not seen any changes to your DA, this means you are looking at cached data which we can store for up to 6 months if we are not discovering new links to have reason to re-crawl your site. Check the Just Discovered section to see when we found new links and add 2-3 months to those dates which is the amount of time it will take to appear in an index. Higher DA sites with 60+ almost always have new links discovered so the update intervals are more frequent for them.
This can also help you isolate any reasons why you might not see our tool detect new or removed 301s, etc.
Hope this helps!

@Moz has tweeted back on the matter saying "The update is live, but it has not rolled out across all campaigns yet. That process takes hours."
-
I have the same problem, it is not updated!
-
I haven't noticed any change as well, although for the last update it took a few days for me to see a change in the tools. Usually, a Moz staffer will post a post about the change and pin it. Maybe we see that later today.
I'm going to not stress it at this point and check back on Monday.
-
According to https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/ it has already been updated on 15th October, with next update due 15th November.
EDIT: Though the OSE homepage and Mozscape Updates log (https://moz.com/products/api/updates) says that it has been updated, I'm finding now too that all my campaigns' DAs are unchanged and still displaying same +/- stats as before. Testing different URLs on OSE too, doesn't seem as if any DA or PA has changed since August update.
Would be great for a Mozzer to let us know what's actually going on here...

It can sometimes take a while and they may have to keep moving it back due to the crawl index getting larger or encounting problems that they had not expected.
It should have been refreshed with the latest update yesterday though

Could be that your domain authority has just stayed the same? Better than going down!
Although sometimes it can take the system a few days to update the DA within your MOZ dashboard etc.

The factors considered in the new domain authority algorithm? On-site factors we can use to compare with competitors? Is having an NA as a spam score a bad thing?
Does anyone know the factors considered in the new domain authority algorithm other than spam score and complex distributions of links based on quality and traffic? Does anyone know of on-site factors we can use to compare with competitors to try and improve DA? Is having an NA as a spam score a bad thing?

Puzzled. High domain authority, but low page authority?
I have a question regarding how a page's authority can be low but the domain authority be high. I'm using the SERP report in moz to compare competing pages. The page I'm working on is an ecommerce category page. Moz says it has very low page authority, has been indexed for a little over a year, it's domain authority is a moderate 50, and has no root domains linking to it. It is more relevant than the other pages (has more products for sale that fit the keyword searched for), has a decent amount of copy on the page, but ranks around #10 in the search results. The competing pages are also ecommerce category pages. The 9 ranking higher have domain authority varying from 30-75, and 1 or 2 root domain links to them. Their number of products that match the keyword searched are all over the board, some have many matches, some have only 6 or 8 results. Some have a moderate amount of text on the page, some have very little text on the page. Yet they have page authority in the 30s-40s. What goes into page authority that I'm missing which would make these other pages have so much more authority when they are just slightly better in the other metrics listed above? What am I missing here?

Domain.com isn't recognized by on-page-grader, but domain.com/index.php is
I am running a website through On-page-grader, as www.domain.com and scores an "F" for a specific keyword. When it's ran as www.domain.com/index.php, it scores an "A" for that same keyword and has everything checked other than "keyword in the domain name". There are no other files such as index.htm, or index.html that would interfere and can't figure out why this page is not being recognized. I checked, the robots and .htaccess file, but do not see anything that would hinder. Could this be a server issue?

My product pages have no weight / links from root domains with the Moz tool bar
Hi, When I view my home page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk) with the Moz toolbar, I see a good PA and a good amount of links from root domains. As I go down the site, it seems to get worse. The category pages (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Category/0/Straight_Foods.html) have a little but not much and then from this point onwards, it's nothing. The product page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Item/Straight_Foods~Sunflower_Seeds/SUNH/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html) is reporting to have no root domain links but I am not sure why. Interestingly, when I click through to a review page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/StockReview/0/SUNH/0/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html) it does have some juice. Would anyone be able help on why this is happening and what I need to be looking at in order to resolve it please? EDIT: I've been looking at the hyperlinks and notice something odd. If I review the score with the first link below, it gives a score of 1, but the second gives a PA of 13 with one root domain linked. 1:http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Item/Straight_Foods~Sunflower_Seeds/SUNH/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html 2:http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Item/Straight_Foods%7ESunflower_Seeds/SUNH/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html Please note the "%7E" instead of the "~" in the URL. The browser appears to show the ~ character no matter what but the rank of the page changes. I don't understand what the Moz toolbar is doing with this. Note: This behaviour only happens in Mozilla Firefox, in chrome both the rankings are zero for each URL. Many Thanks.

Is there a way to do a mass lookup of Page Authority?
Meaning, is there a way I could look at the Page Authority for 50 pages all in one place? Or do I need to use the MozBar and go page by page? Just looking to save some time. Thanks.
