Should I no follow the embed code for youtube videos on my site?

Since it is not an internal page, would it make sense to nofollow links to my youtube videos throughout my site?

I think that linking out with followed links is generally a good idea

- Agree with Albin. You don't stand to gain anything from putting a nofollow on the links.

My first thought is "No, you shouldn't".
First of all, nofollow is a tool to stop other websites from getting link juice. This is primary for websites you don't trust. But I believe you trust Youtube, right?
Plus that it's your own videos on Youtube that you link to, another reason to not put nofollow.

Hi everyone, Question regarding Google+ and youTube - 2 things I'm not massively au fait with these days. We have a number of branches all of whom have a Google+ account (with GoogleMyBusiness).

All of these branches will soon be setup with a Communications Manager login only (for GoogleMyBusiness) as we need to restrict them from changing branch details. The powers that be in my company, have decided that we need to have 2 youtube channels for each branch.
One for news and the other for advertising properties. Having researched this, we understand that if we setup a new youTube channel, that will create another Google+ page - which we don't want, and could cause no end of trouble with duplicate Google+ pages. We are obviously going to try and persuade management to use only one youTube channel per branch, but in the event of being overridden does anyone have any advice on how to achieve 1 Google+ page with 2 youTube channels?1 -
Will subtitling Youtube video Be worthwhile?
We've been thinking that maybe it would be beneficial in terms of SEO to supply our YouTube videos with CC / subtitles. Unfortunately, this is very time consuming, so we would like to know, basically, if it's worthwhile. Does any of you have any expectations or even experience with this, you'd like to share with us?

Follower Wonk Did You Forget To Add Sentiment Tracking?
Buongiorno from Wether by UK Latitude 53.92705600 Longitude -1.38481600 Ok after 20 mins or clicking around https://followerwonk.com/ I couldnt find any way of measuring sentiment tracking. For example i wanted to know how many users where mentioning @PhilpottsLtd but all i could get was a salvo of follow data. Whilst I know this is of some use sentiment tracking i.e being able to measure users dissing or loving your brand would be more usefull. Youtube and SEO
Hello, For a game site I would like to use Youtube for SEO purposes. And I need a little advice on this. How would you use these video's without spamming? There are a lot of tactics to use Youtube. Create channel and put your desired url in the profile (link back to your site), Put your desired url in in the description of the video (link back to your site), Put the created youtube video also on your own site to drive traffic to youtube, and back. And get views. Put a created channel on your own site to drive traffic to youtube, and back. And get views. Other tactics I don't know.... Can someone advice me what tactics I can use without spamming, I'm afraid that if I use combinations of the above mentioned tactics I get an unnatural linkprofile.... Thank you in advance. hi i have just come across scoop it http://www.scoop.it/t/gastric-band-hypnotherapy which is a magazine site where you can post items and news and i would like to know if anyone is using this to generate traffic for their site and generate links. I cam across it after finding out that links were coming to my site from the network and this morning i have signed up as a free member to try it but there are paid options. Open Site Exporer Social Media Data Accuracy. Anyone notice this?
On my homepage http://www.shipoverseas.com, I have 142 FB Likes, 9 Tweets, 3 +1s. In OSE it shows, FB Likes 86, Tweets 4, and 3 +1s. Does anyone know why there is a discrepancy? I am using AddThis.

How are the metrics measured in Open Site Explorer?
I am using Open Site Explorer to measure some metrics. The Facebook Shares, Facebook Likes, Tweets, and Google +1 metrics make no sense to me. Where and how are these being pulled? Is there a timeframe attached? Can I assign a timeframe to them? I have a ShareThis account that states one of my pages was liked over 3000 times but the metrics say 1 like. Very confused. Facebook code used in Huffington Post
I like the call-to-action button that HuffPo uses on its FB button, where with one click, a user on their site can 'Like' their main page on Facebook without actually having to go there (assuming that they're logged in, of course). I'd love to use it on my site but... I'm trying to understand how this works. It seems like it's a custom wrapper, as i'm not seeing the toolset in dev tools (http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/ etc) Anyone know about this?
