Moz keeps logging me out
-
I thought this issue had been resolved a few months ago. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Best,

Our site though does keep a timer on a active session so that once it reaches the range of several hours it will log you out automatically to keep your session secure.
The system is logging me out every few hours. In the past, I thought I could browse the web all day without having to repeatedly login to the Mozbar. Is my memory that bad that i don't correctly recall the previous behavior?

Hi there Christopher,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing some weirdness with our site. At this time, we are not getting any reports of sessions being disconnected or logged out during an active session. Our site though does keep a timer on a active session so that once it reaches the range of several hours it will log you out automatically to keep your session secure. However, from what you are telling me it doesn't seem like that's what you are experiencing.
From what you are telling me, it sounds like a browser issue. Can I trouble you to perform the following steps?
- First clear the cache and cookies for the browser you are using.
- If that doesn't work, simply try logging in from a different browser or computer, if the connect seems stable, it might be connected to a extension/software that's installed in that browser.
I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any questions....I'm here to help!
Best,
Peter

Google Analytics Connection Issue with Moz Analytics
Hello Every time I go into a new page on Moz Analytics I get an error message asking me to reauthorise the Google analytics profile:- Our connection to your Google Analytics account was lost. How to force MOZ crawlers to search in the right area for local SEO
We do local SEO over here and so our keywords are always followed by a city name, like so: "auto repair+Springfield". If there's ever any confusion within SERPS which "Springfield" the searcher is looking for we can depend on Google to pull query location to assume it's the nearest to them (it does, and is usually correct). And furthermore, if the office ever needs to check for rankings by hand (we're not in Springfield), we just set the query location to "Springfield" and our results match their. However, MOZ doesn't set a query location. Which makes sense, I suppose, because their crawlers are up in the Bay. What I'm saying is that oftentimes there's a discrepancy between how MOZ tells me they rank, and how I see them ranking, the business owner sees them ranking, and how the customer finds them ranking. As such, we can't send them reports through MOZ 😞 Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Should the keyword be followed by a zip code instead of a city name? This seems like it would solve the location query problem but it may not provide the same results as service+city name.

Moz login token, time to live...
Suspect it's just a wrinkle as a result of the change from seomoz to moz, but on seomoz the remember me checkbox had a time to live of a few weeks, possibly a month, which was excellent. Since the great rebranding and migration (which is excellent by the way), time to live from ticking remember me is in the order of a couple of hours, which is pretty annoying. Any chance the web folks could bump it up a little, better yet put it back to 30 days? 🙂
