      Hello,

You must go to your Webmasters Tools account and use Labs, Instant Previews, and check if there are any differences between different versions of the website and if Google detects any problems.

If not, it's possible that in 5 september, you were blocking google from crawling resources such as css. I checked your robots.txt file, and it seems fine - as long as you do not want to restrict Google from indexing those pages.

I wouldn't worry too much about it.

But on  5 september the website was working and loading properly, can you tell me why the messy website is coming on cache?

The cached date changes every time Google crawls your website. 5 September is the last date Google visited your website. Strong websites are indexed daily and every time they publish a new page. Google will index your website faster when it has a bigger authority (popularity - build more valuable external links).

Yes, i have changed the title of homepage and now it is around 60 characters.

I have also reduced the characters on meta keywords tag.

            Can you check this?

The meta data looks okay (although I wouldn't use keywords as search engines don't consider them anymore).

Your title shows up correctly, in fact I searched for seo india webygeek and the right title came up.

AS @Netloglq said, you may have typed in the name of your company, if you do so, it only shows the company name.

                Hello,

You must write shorter meta titles. 🙂 You have 97 characters in your meta title - try reducing it at a maximum of 70.

When your title tag is too long, instead of simply truncating it and adding an ellipsis to the end the way they used to, Google is trying to algorithmically determine a better title for the post.

These are the algorithmic changes Google made in May, 2012:

                • "Trigger alt title when HTML title is truncated. [launch codename "tomwaits", project codename "Snippets"] We have algorithms designed to present the best possible result titles. This change will show a more succinct title for results where the current title is so long that it gets truncated. We'll only do this when the new, shorter title is just as accurate as the old one."
                • "Efficiency improvements in alternative title generation. [launch codename "TopOfTheRock", project codename "Snippets"] With this change we've improved the efficiency of title generation systems, leading to significant savings in cpu usage and a more focused set of titles actually shown in search results."
                • "Better demotion of boilerplate anchors in alternate title generation. [launch codename "otisredding", project codename "Snippets"] When presenting titles in search results, we want to avoid boilerplate copy that doesn't describe the page accurately, such as "Go Back." This change helps improve titles by avoiding these less useful bits of text."

You can read more about long meta titles here!

Regarding your cache version - Google will index your website faster when it has a bigger authority (popularity - build more valuable external links). It's only normal for your website to be indexed at a lower rate at this point.

                Best,

                Netlogiq

Just checked the html code and in within the title tag there is the following title:

Try to change it again because it doesn't look like it's been changed.

Usually, changes in the meta tags take place quite quickly

@Netlogiq, yes when i search with brand name or URL or site:www.webygeeks.com, the title does not show up.

Can you tell me how to fix that?

Also, can you please look at this?

                        Hello,

You probably searched for the main url of the website - in this case, Google shows you the branded meta title. If you search for your actual title, you will see Google returns your title tag as: Webygeeks: SEO India, SEO Firm India, SEO India Company . Also: Your Title tag is too log - try reducing the number of characters to less then 70.

What sort of CMS are you using?

I have a custom built CMS and sometimes, due to bugs (I believe), doesn't let me change tags. Ask a developer to look into it.

Also if you have update the code directly within the html file, make sure you inserted all the tags correctly

Do URLs with canonical tags get indexed by Google?

Hi, we re-branded and launched a new website in February 2016. In June we saw a steep drop in the number of URLs indexed, and there have continued to be smaller dips since. We started an account with Moz and found several thousand high priority crawl errors for duplicate pages and have since fixed those with canonical tags. However, we are still seeing the number of URLs indexed drop. Do URLs with canonical tags get indexed by Google? I can't seem to find a definitive answer on this. A good portion of our URLs have canonical tags because they are just events with different dates, but otherwise the content of the page is the same.

How to track my actual traffic source using Google Analytics which are now showing as referral traffic?

Hi Mozzers, I went through many Q&As in the community this morning. I found a solution where I could just remove the referral site in analytics>admin>property>tracking info>referral exclusion list. So I removed paypal.com which was the main referral traffic. I thought the problem is solved. Later today I got another order, now the referral traffic is from eway.com, now what? Yes I know I will add this to the exclusion list but there will be many more referral sites. My main concern is I am not able to track the actual traffic source. How do I do that? 1. Do I need to use google url tracking for all my pages?
                            2. Do I need to add tracking code in each page of the site?
                            3. Is there a way to track the actual source of this traffic, now that the transaction is already made but reflects as referral traffic in Google Analytics? jZjTN

Hi, We have carried out changes in our website title tags. However, when I search for these pages on Google, I still see the old title tags in the search results. Is there any way to speed this process up? Thanks

Duplicate title-tags with pagination and canonical

Some time back we implemented the Google recommendation for pagination (the rel="next/prev"). GWMT now reports 17K pages with duplicate title-tags (we have about 1,1m products on our site and about 50m pages indexed in Google) As an example we have properties listed in various states and the category title would be "Properties for Sale in [state-name]". A paginated search page or browsing a category (see also http://searchengineland.com/implementing-pagination-attributes-correctly-for-google-114970) would then include the following: The title for each page is the same - so to avoid the duplicate title-tags issue, I would think one would have the following options: Ignore what Google says Change the canonical to http://www.site.com/property/state.html (which would then only show the first XX results) Append a page number to the title "Properties for Sale in [state-name] | Page XX" Have all paginated pages use noindex, follow - this would then result in no category page being indexed Would you have the canonical point to the individual paginated page or the base page?

Google Cache is not showing in my page

Hello Everyone, I have issue in my Page, My category page (http://www.bannerbuzz.com/custom-vinyl-banners.html) is regular cached in past, but before sometime it can't show the cached result in SERP and not show in cached result , I have also fetch this link in google web master, but can't get the result, it is showing following message. 404. That’s an error. The requested URL /search?q=cache%3A http%3A//www.bannerbuzz.com/custom-vinyl-banners.html was not found on this server. That’s all we know. My category page rank is 2 and its keyword is on first in google.com, so i am little bit worried about this page cache issue, Can someone please tell me why is this happening? Is this a temporary issue? Help me to solve out this cache issue and once again my page will regularly cache in future. Thanks

Ranking on google.com.au but not google.com

Hi there, we (www.refundfx.com.au)  rank on google.com.au for some keywords that we target, but we do not rank at all on google.com, is that because we only use a .com.au domain and not a .com domain? We are an Australian company but our customers come from all over the world so we don't want to miss out on the google.com searches. Any help in this regard is appreciated. Thanks.

Business name not showing on Google Maps Satellite View

Hi Everyone, When you go into Google Maps and look at the satellite view, you'll notice business names on some, but not all, businesses--like on the roof of the building. Where do I need to go to get this to work for my business? My Google Places pages are setup properly but as far as I can tell there is no setting for this. Is it the Service Area setting? Currently I have it set to "Yes, this business serves customers at their locations." Perhaps I need to set this to "No." Many thanks, Robert
