http://www.godaddy.com/search-engine/seo-services.aspx?ci=44163
it said "Includes Standard Search Engine Visibility to Improve Search Rankings"
it begs for question... Search Engine Visibility??? Improve SERP?!?!!? is it really that good? O.o; or have i successfully been eaten my promotional messages?
Can anyone with experience with them share some information with me ?
(The price tag is mighty interesting)

Any hosting or ISP packages for SEO are not really SEO packages at all, they're just submissions. At some point in the future there will hopefully be more transparency on this stuff, and companies will have to make a proper distinction where they can't just loosely use the term SEO, when they only offer something that is under 1% of what SEO really is.

that is true. Just curious about their promotional message "Includes Standard Search Engine Visibility to Improve Search Rankings" , but guess that has been answered by oznappies too

thanks a lot , glad to hear from someone who have experienced in using their tools

We host some sites on GoDaddy but find as far as SEO goes, it is very limited. If you are looking to rank for a long tail keyphrase it may get you somewhere, but the tools of SEOMoz are far more tuned. The onpage in the campaigns here give much more detail than the seo reports on GoDaddy and they are instant. So, you can make some changes and test your onpage with out waiting for 12-24 hours for GoDaddy's email. I have found their 'website protection' is useful for detecting quirks that pose security issues.
When you look at the wording you get an idea of what they are offering 'to improve search ratings'. So if you are on page 50 and they get you to page 48, they have improved your ratings. No-one will find you, but your rating has improved. If you want good rank, work with a good SEO to get your site where you want it, and be patient.

I personally use GoDaddy for purchasing domains but I do not use any of their add-ons. I would not recommend paying for their SEO tools. Submitting to any search engine is a free process and one that is easy to do.
For Bing go to: http://www.bing.com/toolbox/webmaster/
For Google go to: http://www.google.com/webmasters/
Setting up an account and doing so will also allow you to become familiar with their tools and reports that they provide. It is a great way to learn how and when they are indexing your site.
One additional thing to consider is to create a sitemap that dynamically gets updated as your site does. Submit this sitemap to the search engines and then it will improve the crawling efficiency and accuracy of the search engines. The individual responsible for your web development should be able to set this up for you.

are you saying that they are doing bad thing? If i am not mistaken Godaddy is Official Google Partner. O.o;

One of their features is "Easy, One-click Submission to Google,
Yahoo!, Bing and Ask" - if the pricing doesn't ring alarm bells, that certainly should. The premium plan just includes what must be a very small scale ppc campaign.

CDN for SEO (or not)?
Does CDN impact on SEO or not? There seems conflicting ideas as to whether they impact positively or negatively, I realise that if the page loads quicker this is a good thing for SEO and usability of course. Does Google see CDN as just cheating and a get-around for not doing the work from the ground up and using good hosting etc? Do you have any direct experience? All constructive input much appreciated!

Advanced SEO - What would you do after you run out of keywords?
Hello! Our company has been growing in terms of traffic and ranking well for a couple of years but we are now kind of stagnating because we just don't know what to do next. We have a good blog - and with our blogs, we have been targeting all major keywords with their related keywords as a bucket. - "keyword theme / page" for a long time. But it seems we now don't have any major keyword theme to write about. What is worse is that we don't see any traffic growth since 2014 September. (although we added many good blogs) So what would do you when you run out of keywords? or keyword themes? Would you just keep pumping in more blogs and hope that you get more clicks? or at some point, you just don't care about keywords and write whatever relevant to your site? Wouldn't it hurt our site if we create similar keyword themed pages? (like regurgitating our keywords?) or even same keyword targeting pages? You must have similar experience if you are an owner of a niche site. Can you please share your experience with this kind of headaches? Thank you and look forward to your comments.

508 compliance vs good SEO re: Image alt tags
I'm currently in debate with our 508 compliance team over the use of alt tags on images. For SEO, it is best practice to use alt tags so that readers can tell what the image represents. However, they are arguing that these images should NOT have alt text as it doesn't add anything to the disability screen reader as the image text would be repetitive with the text on the page. I feel they are taking the "decorative" image concept in 508 compliance too far. It's intention is for images for bullets, etc that truly are decorative in nature and add no benefit to the reader. What is the communities thoughts on this? Have you ever run into scenario where 508 is attempting to ruin SEO? Usually the 2 play nicely.

Domain Forwarding - SEO Impacts?
I have a site that has been active for years - thinkbiglearnsmart.com. Awhile ago I had purchased about 50 domain names that were relevant to my company. I still have those urls and would like to use them to point to different pages on my site - just because they have good key words in the URLs. For example - one is dreamweavertrainingclassesonlinelive.com. Currently they are all redirecting to my homepage. A. is that hurting me? B. I would like to redirect to the more relevant page. ie the page dedicated to Dreamweaver training (http://thinkbiglearnsmart.com/dreamweaver-creative-cloud-training-course/ ) Will this hurt my Dreamweaver keyword for example because there is already a 301 redirect on that page from a very old Dreamweaver link which was something like thinkbiglearnsmart.com/dreamweaver C. On my hosting account where I can select where the URL forwards to - it has an option for "Location forwarding" and "Frame forwarding" - currently they are set to Frame forwarding - which one is best? Any help is much appreciated!!! Thank you!

Here's a bit of background information: I've achieved the targets and is now being offered what is essentially an unlimited budget. I have a nice list of ideas but thought I would the brilliant people here at the SEOMOZ community what they would do. So as to promote as much response as possible, I'm going to keep my list to myself for now. And by "SEO", I mean I can do things like content strategy, blogging, infographics, etc. Shoot away!

Web fonts & SEO
Hi everyone ! My question is regarding web fonts. We are currently working on a new design for our website and we're thinking about using web fonts instead of images containing the fonts we'd like to have. I'd like to know if web fonts can affect SEO as they need to be downloaded on the visitor's computers and consequently can slow down the load time of our web pages. If anyone has used web fonts in the past, do you have some specific tips to share ? Thank you in advance for your answers! Jeremie
