Ranking on google but not Bing?

How are your rankings in Google? Usually a site well optimized and ranking well in Google also does well in Bing. Do you have a Bing Webmaster Tools account? Sometimes Bing rejects sitemaps, you would get a message in your Webmaster Tools account.

Thanks for your response! I have 3 top level domains and I have submitted the same sitemap i submitted to google.
Still not seeing any rankings any idea why this might be?

Have you submitted your site to Bing? You will have to do that through Webmaster tools. Watch out for emails within the first 2 weeks. If you have any issues with links or on page content, they will not index your site. Make sure you submit the same sitemap you submitted to Google.

Cheers for your feedback. Yes the site is new, 1 month now i think its been. I use myseotools. com and I see no rankings for Bing for the same keywords, but I see ranking in google.
Keywords such as Wellington Psychic Readings (is ranking on google 18th) but nothing on Bing. This is an article coming from our blog, and perhaps there is next to nothing competition for this keyword, however I'm still not ranking for this keyword on Bing.
Other keywords I can understand will take time as they are more competitive, such as psychic readings.

Could you provide a little more background?
- Is this a new site?
- has it previously ranked in Google AND Bing
- ranking for what and in what position?
- Has anything on the site changed radically recently?
I can see it is indexed in bing and often ranking in one engine usually is pretty close to another so it is likely just a case of waiting a while. I tend to think Bing is a little more old fashioned in it's approach to links and sensitive to traditional on page signals whilst Google has become more nuanced.
In all likelihood, it is just a matter of time but if you can give a bit more info I am sure folks will offer some advice.

Website ranking stuck on 2nd page of google. How to bring it in top 10 position??
Hi I am working on a site indianhomeappliances.in that for search terms such as 'best washing machine in india' appears near the top of the 2nd page of Googl for url https://indianhomeappliances.in/best-washing-machine-in-india/ When looking at what is listed on the 1st page for 'best washing machine in india' I would appreciate any advice/guidance on what else could be done to give the site a final push to get on the 1st page of search results. Home Page Disappears From Google - But Rest of Site Still Ranked
As title suggests we are running into a serious issue of the home page disapearing from Google search results whilst the rest of the site still remains. We search for it naturally cannot find a trace, then use a "site:" command in Google and still the home page does not come up. We go into web masters and inspect the home page and even Google states that the page is indexable. We then run the "Request Indexing" and the site comes back on Google. This is having a damaging affect and we would like to understand why this issue is happening. Please note this is not happening on just one of our sites but has happened to three which are all located on the same server. One of our brand which has the issue is: www.henweekends.co.uk

Does google ignore ? in url?
Hi Guys, Have a site which ends ?v=6cc98ba2045f for all its URLs. Example: https://domain.com/products/cashmere/robes/?v=6cc98ba2045f Just wondering does Google ignore what is after the ?. Also any ideas what that is? Cheers.

Keyword Ranking Fluctuations
Hi Guys I am currently working on a website where one of the keyword targets is fluctuating. The keyword is fluctuating between page 2 and page 5. What makes this strange is that we are not experiencing the issue with any other keyword targets. They are all ranking fine. It is only 1 keyword. The keyword target happens to be the main homepage keyword target - not sure if this makes a difference? The homepage targets 2 keyword e.g. Business Offices & Accessories. The homepage ranks perfectly fine for e.g. Business Accessories but is fluctuating for e.g. Business Offices! Very strange. What makes it even stranger - the keyword variations of the fluctuating keyword e.g. office for business - these variations are all fine and not fluctuating. Its only 1 keyword. Why does Google rank a product page rather than a category page?
Hi, everybody In the Moz ranking tool for one of our client's (the client sells sport equipment) account, there is a trend where more and more of their landing pages are product pages instead of category pages. The optimal landing page for the term "sleeping bag" is of course the sleeping bag category page, but Google is sending them to a product page for a specific sleeping bag.. What could be the critical factors that makes the product page more relevant than the category page as the landing page?

Will Google View Using Google Translate As Duplicate?
If I have a page in English, which exist on 100 other websites, we have a case where my website has duplicate content. What if I use Google Translate to translate the page from English to Japanese, as the only website doing this translation will my page get credit for producing original content? Or, will Google view my page as duplicate content, because Google can tell it is translated from an original English page, which runs on 100+ different websites, since Google Translate is Google's own software?

Number of images on Google?
Hello here, In the past I was able to find out pretty easily how many images from my website are indexed by Google and inside the Google image search index. But as today looks like Google is not giving you any numbers, it just lists the indexed images. I use the advanced image search, by defining my domain name for the "site or domain" field: http://www.google.com/advanced_image_search and then Google returns all the images coming from my website. Is there any way to know the actual number of images indexed? Any ideas are very welcome! Thank you in advance.

Will changing Google Places address hurt rankings?
I have a client transferring ownership of their service business (photo booth rental). The current listed address will change, so my main concern is preserving the rankings during the transition. Should I change the Google Local listing to a new physical address, or change it to "serve a surrounding area"? It seems best to set as "serving a surrounding area", but I know Google is really weird about making local listing changes. I've seen and heard about countless listings falling completely off the map after being updated. Any advice appreciated.
