Remove Toxic Backlinks: Use tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or Moz to identify and disavow toxic or low-quality backlinks pointing to your site.
Improve Content Quality: Ensure all your content is original, high-quality, and relevant to your audience. Avoid duplicate content and thin content that provides little value.
Optimize On-Page SEO: Properly use meta tags, headers, and keywords without overstuffing. Ensure your website’s structure is clean and well-organized.
Check for Malware: Regularly scan your website for malware and other security issues. Use security plugins and keep your CMS, plugins, and themes updated.
Remove Hidden Text and Links: Ensure there are no hidden text or links on your site that could be considered deceptive by search engines.
Use Clean Code: Ensure your website’s code is clean and free from unnecessary or outdated elements. This helps with site speed and reduces the risk of hidden spam.
Fix Broken Links: Regularly check for and fix broken links on your site. Tools like Screaming Frog can help identify these.
Monitor User-Generated Content: If your website allows user-generated content, like comments or forum posts, ensure it’s moderated to prevent spammy or low-quality contributions.
Optimize for Mobile: Ensure your website is mobile-friendly and provides a good user experience on all devices.
Enhance Website Speed: Improve your site’s loading speed using techniques such as image optimization, leveraging browser caching, and minimizing HTTP requests.
Use SSL Certificate: Ensure your site uses HTTPS rather than HTTP to improve security and trustworthiness.
Improve Domain Authority: Work on building your domain authority by creating high-quality content and earning backlinks from reputable sources.
Check for Cloaking: Ensure you are not using cloaking, which means showing different content to search engines than to users. This is a major red flag for search engines.
Avoid Keyword Stuffing: Use keywords naturally within your content and avoid overstuffing, which can be seen as a spammy practice.
Regularly Audit Your Site: Perform regular SEO audits to catch and fix any issues before they become significant problems. Tools like SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs can help with this.

Hello everyone,
I'm currently working on reducing the Spam Score (SS) for 6love. I have already disavowed some backlinks and optimized the application for faster loading times. However, I haven't seen a significant decrease in the Spam Score yet and I'm wondering if it just needs more time to reflect these changes.
I'm open to any suggestions or tips you might have to further decrease the SS. Are there other effective strategies I should consider? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Why Google Search Console Data is different from Moz Data for my website
Hi All I am running a website, I have been using Moz since Feb 2021. Kindly go through these pics My question is why Moz is showing 2K plus backlinks while Google search console is showing just 1253 backlinks. Why fewer links in the google search console is less? How can I increase Google search console backlinks? Also, Moz is showing 90+ DA backlinks but those websites are not showing by the Google search console. Backlinks and SPAM
I was doing some back link review of competitors and I have noticed that many of our competition have 300+ do follow back links from Justia.com and an additional 300+ do follow links from law.cornell.edu (they share the same database). The links on Justia are from different pages and they are all going to the root of our competitors site. So the questions are as follows; 1: For the purpose of SEO is this considered SPAM 2: If not SPAM, then does it have a positive effect on the competitions website and should I attempt to emulate for my client. Thanks in advance. -Jeff

Back link from site with DA of 72 to a website domain. Clicking on the link redirects to our website not the attended one.
Hi,
Link Building | | JIMBO16
I've ran a back link check and discovered a good back link to a site which then gets redirected back to my company's website. I have a feeling that an old SEO agency has purchased a small website which has a decent link back from a relevant organisation with a high Domain authority and then redirects the domain to our website to get the link juice. What are your thought on this? Is this really bad practise and possibly damaging? Thanks, Jim0 -
Website Ranking well in Mobile but not in Desktop

For example, in Mobile, our main targetted keyword ranks in 7th position but in Desktop we are stuck in 11th position. In desktop the website have been stuck in 11th position for quite some time now, any suggestion will help.

Dealing with spam link attack
Last year I noticed that overnight my site was backlinked by 1000's of spammy links.
Link Building | | chuckstar_za
All with same anchor text and all really awful unrelated sites (law, money, mobile phone, pr0n sites, etc). I've not been hit with any penalties (or at least been messaged with anything to that effect), and I still float around top 10 for that anchor text, but I don't like having 1000's of spammy links with exact anchor text pointing to my site. Especially when all the other competitors have a fraction of the number of links. What would be the best way to combat these links before they do serious damage to my rankings.
If you want to see for yourself, the site is www.alexkilbeephotography.co.uk Thanks in advance.0 -
Best five links to get first for a new website
I wondered if people had a list of the top five or ten links you should build for a new website in order to add some sense of authority. For example should a new website start with key social media websites such as Twitter, Google+ and Linkedin ? Or top level directories such as BOTW and DMOZ? Should they local for niche website directories in their location or vertical? If you had to choose five links - free or paid which would they be?
