How you do guest posting on behalf of your clients? What do you use in the author bio - your name, client's name or a fake name?

I would like to hear from SEO agencies or link building teams - how you manage guest posting on behalf of your clients?

I work for an SEO agency and I am interested in content and SEO related blog posts. But, I have many clients in the home improvement, real estate, food, fashion and other industries. I don't feel right to use my name when posting a guest blog on their behalf.
What you guys prefer?
Any thoughts?

When you're acquiring links for a person or a company you definitely need to be in a position where your client is comfortable with you representing them or their brand. When it comes to Guest blogging you shoot for the ABSOLUTE BEST, and for the highest links you can get!
So if you want to rank for SEO, you get links by answering 200 questions on MoZ, because they're an authority in SEO. You write guest articles for search engine journal, because any piece of content from a well known authority serves as an endorsement.
DO NOT EVER use fake anything for yourself or for someone you represent. Writing is a valuable skill to have, and if you guest post about anything at all, you're going to have to do very SOLID research to be an AUTHORITY.
However I have come to find, you don't have to be a psychologist to write a better article that paints and defines the difference between bipolar I and bipolar II better than anyone formerly had done before! The 3000 word compendium that you gained your source of information on the subject matter, nobody needs to know that was your clients website and onsite SEO you did for them. money in the bank for you, backlinks for your client

on a local level SEO clients can be acquired by ranking in the term city name + SEO. It's actually seemingly easy aside living in a massive metropolis. By doing things as simple as ranking a Youtube channel with tutorials, writing a nice 2000 word local SEO blog.You'll most likely kill your competition. 1.2m population here in Tucson and not one of these guys has a Youtube channel that breaks 100.
In summary, I provide content and that teaches others through my experiences. When it comes to SEO, right or wrong, results and positive client reviews will bring in the crowd.
2. What do you mention in your author bio? I lost count of how many profiles and forum membership sites I've signed up for, many of them vary, tailored specifically to that particular platform, and who my target audience is.
This changes despite selling specifically web design and SEO, for example a profile and blog on ActiveRain or AccountingWeb, you would need to be specifically targeting realtors or CPAs. So I base my blog posts specifically on those markets.
There really isn't a specific template aside simply saying use current pictures, make profile names a nice variance of different target keywords, and whenever possible use 400+ words to make your links contextual.
You'll never need to use a clients name for your offsite/onsite SEO especially if you are winning them links and leads with quality content marketing.

You need to obtain an email address from the client from their server. Then when you contact them you do it as if you are the client. All references are made in the name of the company as is the bio link - it needs to pass link juice back to the company, not you. That is the whole idea, to promote your client's interests, not yours, or your agency's.
If you simply can't, then register a generic Gmail address which mentions your client's name but still have all links passing back to the company.

Reputable Place For Guest Posts
We do our SEO in-house, and I don't have the time for blogger outreach. Does anyone know of a reputable place where I can submit our content to be pitched to relevant outlets for backlinks and US traffic? I am not in it for someone creating our content; I write it myself and have a degree in the content I produce. I am looking for a place that gets REAL US traffic, not some P.B.N. sites or those where I can create accounts at a post myself. I want real traffic from relevant, reputable blogs or a place where I can have them use my content and find niche sites for me.

Links from PRWeb press release violate Google's quality guidelines?
My site has had a manual action performed on it by Google indicating that I have inbound links that fall outside of their quality guidelines. I did my own research, found what I thought was the issue, had the links removed and requested reconsideration. Google's response surprised me in that they highlighted two specific pages with links that were the direct result of valid press releases and a publisher picking up our release off a wire service. Has anyone else seen this occur? Anyone had a case successfully reconsidered? I realize that I don't need to do anything at all as the manual action is in effect and will stay that way, discounting those links, but I would rather a) not have any manual action against my site and b) know for the future so this doesn't happen again. Also, is this applicable for guest blog posts, which effectively create the same type of backlinks? Thanks

Web Designers and SEOs using backlinks from client sites
What are your thoughts on SEOs and web designers putting their own links in the footers of client sites. For the sake of argument, lets assume that the client is happy for the link to be there. I'm referring to the SEO merits of the link being there from an 'irrelevant' website. My belief is that this goes against what Google is looking for and that these are irrelevant links and likely to be picked up and penalised. That's what I believe! However, I see lots of sites offering SEO services that have dofollow links from their client sites, using exact match anchor text and they are all ranking highly. Is it just a matter of time before Google sniffs them out and penalises them for it? Or should I be going through my client sites and adding myself a dofollow link in the footer? (with their permission of course). The highest ranking sites in any UK city do this. If you search SEO Manchester, SEO Leeds etc and find the top ranking sites and check them out on opensite explorer, they are all using a disproportionate amount of dofollow backlinks form client sites.

Fake product ideas
I am going to build a fake product and wanted to get some of your awesome ideas 🙂 This is for fun, laughs and mainly viral/back links. Setting up Web 2.0 sites in your own name or business name?
I'm interested in starting a link wheel strategy. However, when it comes to setting up the web 2.0 sites I'm unsure as to whether to set them up in my own name or in my business name. My initial thoughts were that it would appear more natural in my own name but if I have many sites linking to the same page, isn't that bad for SEO? Does anyone have any advice?

How good is a backlink that's in the footer
Hello, The strongest site in our industry (according to domain authority and excluding wikipedia) said that they would put a sitewide link to us in their footer. We're good friends with them. It would be right next to the copyright. Our site is nlpca (dot) com The partner site is nlpu (dot) com The link will say something like "More NLP Training" with the "NLP" as the link. We're targeting the keyword "NLP" How much will this move us up for the keyword "NLP"? Right now we're on the 3rd page for that term. I also want to make sure that it's a white hat move. Thanks!
