@arainbadami said in How Many Backlinks does I need to rank?:

      olehana

It all starts with if you have a page you can dedicate for that keyword. If you do, then great, if you don't then you'd probably need to build a page for that keyword. Once you have an SEO-optimized article, you can then start talking about building backlinks.

My company's created a free report, where you can insert your target keyword and target landing page, and it'll take what's currently in the SERPs and give you a recommendation on how many backlinks you'll need to compete. Feel free to create one here (https://www.basesearchmarketing.com/what-it-takes-to-rank-tool/). Let me know if you have any other questions!

I believe it depends on how much competition there is in your industry as well as how reliable your website is. As a general rule, if you are in a highly competitive industry, you will need more backlinks. In a less competitive industry, you will want fewer backlinks. If your website is not very authoritative, then you will need more backlinks on your website, and if it is very authoritative, then you will need fewer backlinks.

As always, it's imperative to keep in mind that there are a variety of other factors that can affect your search engine rankings, including on-page optimization, the freshness of your content, etc., so these numbers can differ depending on the niche or industry in which you're competing.

@arainbadami per page you will need at least 50 QUALITATIVE backlinks. An exception is the home page where you need at least 100, again qualitative backlinks. Bear in mind you need excellent content and authoritative forums.

Keep in mind it's not just the number of backlinks but the relevancy and quality of those links. Analyze the profiles of the pages you are competing against to start.

Hi, The nowadays the ranking factor has been changed it's totally depends on you content quality and structure what type of content you post on your website example pradhanmantriyojanaa.in no backlinks have but they get ranked on page top page.

So that mean to focus on trending and answerable content to get rank with the less backlinks.

It depends on the competition in your industry and how authoritative your website is. In general, you need more backlinks if you are in a competitive industry and less if you are in a less competitive industry. You also need more backlinks if your website is not very authoritative and fewer if your website is very authoritative.

But again, it's important to remember that there are many other factors that come into play when it comes to ranking, such as on-page SEO, content freshness, etc., so these numbers can vary depending on the specific niche or industry you're competing in.

@arainbadami it depends upon your niche and complexity of the Keyword you want to rank for.

The first position in the search engines is not given to the one who obtains a certain number of links. The first position is given to the one with the most links, as well as the most qualitative ones.

So the goal is to have more links than your competitors have.

That's why you must always keep an eye on your competitors and get links at a higher rate than they get, in order to surpass them.
If you can't do it yourself, there are agencies that create SEO strategies for you after extensive and continuous analyses of your competitors.

The number of backlinks needed grows faster than the difficulty rating. For example, if a keyword has a difficulty of 10, you probably need about 10 backlinks to rank. But if it has a complexity of 50, you might need 100 backlinks to rank.

The number of backlinks you need to make depends upon the SEO competition of thecurrent keyword you want to rank for, as well as your current domain authority and the number of competitors iin your industry. These factors pave way for your upcoming SEO strategy , but you need to continue building backlink pages regularly even after achieving initial results. If you are new to SEO, you can consult a top digital marketing consultant who will create a digital marketing strategy which will keep your rank solidified in search engine results pages.

It all depends upon your keyword's difficulty level and the competition in your target area. If the competition is low you have a greater chance to rank your website only On-page otherwise you need to go for off-page techniques too.

It all depends on the number of keywords and competitiveness level. For contrast, lets take low competition keywords, you will need approximately 15 to 25 for proper link building service. For keywords that are higher in ranking, you will need around 55 to 100 or more backlinks for link building. Each case can vary depending on any website’s domain authority. I suggest checking out Your SEO Shop. They have blogs with quality information regarding SEO.

It really depends on the keywords you are trying to rank high with Google that determines the backlink count you need. Most important is the quality of your website's content, if it is not good then sending potential customers there will be a waste of time and money. You will get free links if your content is awesome. Also, link building is very important you have to go make backlinks from relevant stuff also one of the most important backlinks is link insertion that will rank you higher.

                                hope it works
                                Thanks

                                      @arainbadami Hi,
You need to beat him with value added quality content. If backlinks are your focus then focus on gaining contextual backlinks like niche edits or guest posts - rather than creating more backlinks than your competitor.

How much time does it takes for a backlink to get registered in Google? My basketball anime website has been live since start of this week and Google has not registered any backlink.

So my website https://www.animedhfa.com/basketball-anime/ about basketball Anime has shown no changes in DA or backlinks. It has been 5 days perhaps since it went live.

                                        Rankings Dropped After New Backlinks.

I have a low-traffic website (under 100 unique visitors per day) and I've encountered a strange issue started yesterday morning. I acquired three back-links, one of these back-links is contextual and the other two are site-wide. The site-wide back-links are from PA 40+ blogs. It looks like the back-links are already indexed by Google. Despite these new back-links, my rankings across multiple keywords have dropped several positions. I'm new to SEO, but I would assume new back-links would improve my rankings. None of these back-links are low quality links, they are from real established blogs with high domain and page authority values. Could anyone give me insights into why my rankings may have dropped with new back-links?

                                        Best Way to Filter Backlinks

When analyzing backlinks and trying to get the same one for another site there are a ton of backlinks to go through. I know that if the DA of the link is then pages on the site might be a good choice like adding an article or something of the sort to the site but as far a the same page goes you can typically only do this with a comment on the page. My question is, given a huge list of backlinks from multiple sites, is there an easy way to analyze the links and determine which ones I can copy without manually checking hundreds of links?

                                        PR1 and PR2 backlinks

We're doing some content marketing. I've heard that it is a good idea to target even PR1 and PR2 sites (small DA sites). I'm concerned about these sites disappearing after a few months, as we've found that losing a backlink can sting a bit and be worse than never having it. Though this isn't as big a deal any more. Anyways, can somebody say when a PR1/PR2 backlink would be appropriate to go after? Some of them would be easy and if it's appropriate I'd like to include them. So far they would only pass our standards if they are Above PR0 Look like a white hat, quality site from the outside Have a clean backlink profile Look like they're going to stick around Successful Social Media Accounts a plus What are you guys' criteria for including these sites? Do you gain value from them?

                                        Top 20 sites for backlinking

My security jobs website was doing very well in Search engines until the penguin got hold of me.  I don't profess to be at pro at SEO however seem to have a knack of getting sites to rank well.  I think I made some basic mistakes with the original security jobs website, to many links to soon, so I have started again and will build up slowly the backlinks quality rather than quantity this time.  My questions is what are the top 20 or so sites that are good to backlink from?

Should we BackLink to Guest Post ?

Hi, I have been actively doing guest blogging for last few weeks . But the page authority , moz Rank and moz Trust of my guest posts appear 0 as those posts have their own pages on blogs  with snippets of posts on home page.  I wanted to ask if i should backlink to my guest posts to increase the authority, mR and mT of pages. Those posts are already appearing as backlinks in webmaster tools but if i backlink to my posts to increase mR and mT, then will it also increase the juice passed by backlinks in those posts to landing pages on my site ? Thanks,

How good is a backlink that's in the footer

Hello, The strongest site in our industry (according to domain authority and excluding wikipedia) said that they would put a sitewide link to us in their footer. We're good friends with them. It would be right next to the copyright. Our site is nlpca (dot) com The partner site is nlpu (dot) com The link will say something like "More NLP Training" with the "NLP" as the link. We're targeting the keyword "NLP" How much will this move us up for the keyword "NLP"? Right now we're on the 3rd page for that term. I also want to make sure that it's a white hat move. Thanks!
