When Google is checking the quality of a businesses backlinks,, its always good to have a mixture of do-follow and also no-follow links, sure its the do-follow that sends the link equity, yet you still need no follow as well, as these links, can still bring shoppers to your website.
we have a lot of no follow links to our summerhouse construction company, yet we get a lot of sales, from our hundreds of no-follow backlinks.

PA and DA for Homepage
I've been looking at the PA and DA scores for the homepage of websites we have built and have been comparing this to competitors. What I'm finding is that the PA score is always higher than the DA, however on competitors sites the PA is much higher in relation to the DA. What could be the reason for this? For example, some of our website homepages may have PA / DA scores such as the following: Website #1: PA37 DA25 (PA:DA = 1.48)

Website #2: PA31 DA21 (PA:DA = 1.47) However competitors often have figures like this: Website #3: PA40 DA21 (PA:DA 1.9)
Website #4: PA 25 DA 11 (PA:DA 2.27) I even saw one website with the following scores: Website #5: PA36 DA5 (PA:DA 7.2) How do you explain such a high Page Authority in relation to the domain authority for that site? When I look at the scores for our websites I often feel that the DA is at a good level, but the PA for the homepage doesn't seem as high as it could be compared to competitors. My initial thought was that maybe we had a lot of backlinks to other pages on the website (not the homepage) but this is not the case at all - pretty much all our backlinks are to the homepage. I am particularly new to the field of SEO and Backlinking and I have recently started my own blog feel free to have a look (https://thehorseradar.com/). What I wanted to find out is how can I achieve a DA of at least 30. What should be my link-building strategy? & what steps should I take first? With an abundance of overwhelming info available online I have gotten really confused about what would work and what would not. Unsolved Anyone else finding that the Link Intersection tool is not accurate?
I ran the Link Intersect tool on my site vs competitor's site. The first 3 domains it tells me the competitor has links from but I do not are: medium.com, behance.net, and moz.com. I thought this was odd because I know for a fact I built profiles with a link on all 3 sites. So, I went to all 3 and found my links on these sites. I also double-checked in the Google search console and they show up there. Am I understanding the tool wrong? Is it really showing me sites we both have vs what I don't have?

What's the difference between follow and nofollow links?
I understand this may be a really dumb question and from my understanding there is a piece of code in some url's that tell search engines not to follow that link. I am interested in finding out what the purpose of nofollow links are and how they apply to search rankings. Thanks for the help

Nofollow links & content syndication
When syndicating content, I have heard/read that even if the piece you syndicate has a link back to your site (original post), the engines should be able to tell your post is the original because of the link that is pointing back. Is this the case when the links are "nofollow"? I think not, but I just would like to get someone else point of view. I think that if they don't want to follow the links, they should at least add noindex meta robots tags to the post so it doesn't create duplicate content... Any thoughts? Thanks!
