Prices Showing for products in SERPs - organic CTR reducing
Hi,
I've been looking at a clients site and Google is pulling the prices of the products (for some not all) and the pages that rank have started to have a lower organic CTR.
Does anyone know how I can control what prices show in the SERPs? There is no Schema on the site to display this and the price is not in the meta title or description - it's just appearing on some pages - it's not uniform across the site?
Any ideas?
Cheers

RE: Mobile SERP Thumbnail Image Control
Hi Bridget,
It's actually remedied now - it was a server loading issue with some images and now it's showing correctly.
It was a category page and I can't share details I'm afraid as it's a client's site, however if you had the schema markup for thumbs in mobile search at category level that would be really helpful - thanks so much for your time

RE: Mobile SERP Thumbnail Image Control
Hi Bridget - sorry to jump in on an old Q&A.
I have a thumbnail image showing in the mobile SERPs which is incorrect. Is there a Schema markup we can add to suggest Google show a product rather than the current image which is un-related.
many thanks

RE: Negative Keywords for SEO
Hi Egol,
Thanks for your input. The term is actually quite bad as in not your main stream type of adult content so I'm not sure how nice the people are but I get you drift
Thanks for your help and input!

RE: Negative Keywords for SEO
Thanks Patrick - yes I think the meta data is the answer - I won't mention the search term they rank for here but it's bad - they rank for some great stuff too though - many thanks

RE: Negative Keywords for SEO
Thanks Logan,
The meta data is very clear on what the site is about (both title and description). The issue is it's showing up in the SERPs and users are just clicking without reading anything.

Negative Keywords for SEO
Hi Mozzers,
I have a client that has a totally legit retail business and they are getting lots of traffic organically that is adult in nature and totally off subject. The reason for this is their domain name contains keywords which while work well for their brand, when reordered and couple with a another keyword (such as picture or image) they get traffic for searches that have nothing to do with them and are pretty awful in nature.
If this was Adwords I'd add a negative in of course but how can I stop bad traffic coming to the site organically?
Any ideas?
Cheers

RE: Blocking domestic Google's in Robots.txt
Thanks Guys for all of the help.
I think we will just implement cross domain GeoIP redirects to ensure users get the right location and currency.

Blocking domestic Google's in Robots.txt
Hey,
I want to block Google.co.uk from crawling a site but want Google.de to crawl it.
I know how to configure the Robots.txt to block Google and other engines - is there a fix to block certain domestic crawlers?
any ideas?
Thanks

RE: Has Anyone Else Noticed A Jump In Google Analytics Traffic Since Session Parameters Were Changed?
Hi James,
Can I ask if you have seen a big jump in returning visitors please since the session upadate? The growth I've seen in Google is mainly returning visitors and I think GA has calculated these visits twice as the session parameters are out of whack.
Cheers
