I most want to see if buying aged domains with a bunch of backlinks and then repurposing them into blogs still works to create an authority website.
Example:
Look at the wayback machine on that.

So you're saying Wikipedia's main reasoning, if you had to guess, for them not having a meta desc. would be just because they don't need it?
