I know its new website but as we all knoe Google is updating panda, EMD, Penguin algorithm but why they are not capable of understanding simple 301 redirect.

I have just for "directory submission service" in Google.com ( Geo Location USA ). I got two results from  moz community for same thread. Does Google don't understand 301 redirect from seomoz.org to moz.com ? What about Domain Clustering ?

I think in this case 301 redirection would be good option. Why can't you permanently redirect non-www version to WWW or WWW to non-www. ( Before doing redirection please check domain authority & page authority. Do redirection on page having more domain & page authority.)

Currently I am using free version of ahrefs.com, will convert account into paid if required. I also use opensiteexplorer but I like anchor text distribution functionality of ahefs.com.

Why can't you block search pages in robots.txt ? As they are not unique, those pages get generated based upon drop down box selection. And for not found you can show message "0 results found for Triumph On-Off Road Tiger 800 XC ABS" but "you might be below bikes" and show most viewed pages of your website. Some websites also shows html sitemap from where user can navigate to other places of website.

There is no limit in social media as far as content is shared by real user. You will find many blogpost in seomoz which are shared by 500+ times in Twitter, facebok, Linkedin, Google+ etc. The more awesome content is, the more it get shared.

May I know which keyword you have searched ? Google gives priority to local results in some of queries like pizza, restaurant etc.

Hi James,  Google has to index those pages again to remove your link which will going to take too much. Then after "Link to your site" data also takes time in removing links so I prefer to "disavow those links" as well by using Google webmaster tool.

They already have affiliate link tracking for sales. Affiliate get paid based upon those affiliate links. Please talk to your affiliate network they will help you out in it.

Your site is recently registered, whilst the other site with a very similar domain name is old then your site, the likelihood is that users are searching for that one rather than your new one, hence the occasional auto-correct. Given a bit of time this should resolve itself

Wait for some time & you will find your domain name.

I checked his backlink profile, he is on no. 2 for Search term "f--k buddy" & he is getting links from unique 27 domains. I see his backlinks too, backlinks are not so good..

I think the reason why his ranking is not drop or are on no.2 is because of his domain name & the domain age (Created Date : 1st May 2006)..

Redirection is not something to fix this.. Yes, you are right because of the "name" sitelinks are not coming up in search engine..

Here is the example :

Search with "Matt Cutts" (Name) site links will not appear, but if you search with "matt cutts gadgets" or "matt cutts gadgets google and seo" the site links will appear.

James, Is your competitor doing only press release ? As per the video, links from Press release doesn't affect SEO directly but when the content is published on several sites, it might get into the eye and he might share it out that helps in SEO. Matt Cutt has mentioned that in last part of Video.
