Have you blocked all the links from being crawled? e.g. /go/affurl - block /go/ in robots.txt ?

Agreed Godaddy is terrible. I use Bluehost and find them OK, but I do get a better service with Just Host ( bit.ly/iw8cpo)
United Hosting is also very good.
