If you built a lot toxic backlinks, you need to remove it by contact site owner or send it to google disavow tools. Domain Authority score is depend on a lot of factors.

@jcn-sbwd Yes they should do something for the backlinks that have expired or no more available. Its really hard to find forum listing sites and business listing sites these days.
