Google: Is There a Way to Find Your "Unknown Search Terms"

I believe Google stopped reporting search terms for privacy reasons. All my searches show as "unknown". I found a video that showed how to get around this but it's not current. Is there any way to get your Google terms search information?

As far as I know there is no way of uncovering the Google 'not provided' keywords, and I don't think there's any point in kicking against it either because there are several ways that you can get information. Mostly I think Google tries to hide any terms it thinks may release confidential information or very specific low-volume terms, in which case these probably wouldn't be much use anyway.
With enough traffic you can still get an awful lot of information from Google Analytics, it still releases about 10% of the keywords.
Secondly, Look at Google Search Console > Search Traffic > Search Analytics.
The strategy that I like best is to work the opposite way on, decide on the keywords that you want to go after and then optimise the site for those keywords.

Do you have a backwards ranker tool? If you know what you are ranking for - that might help narrow things down. Rank Recon has a tool that finds where a domain ranks in the top 20 results for specific keywords. Its not infallible but it is helpful.

How do I do keyword research when search volume is unknown
Hi Mozzers! I do a lot of work in niche areas, and one issue I often confront in keyword research is unknown search volume. That is, I'll be doing keyword research in Keyword Explorer or Gooogle Search Console, and for the most relevant keywords, I find either very low search volumes, null search volumes, or "Data not available." How can you perform a simulated search query from another location?
In order to review the search results for different locations (New York, London, Paris, Berlin, etc.) I have tried several ways to simulate a search query from different locations. None of the ways I tried gave me the correct results, mostly because Google recognized my location anyway. Tools such as Browserstack also didn't give me the results I hoped for. Any ideas how to generate search results from different locations?

The best way to do keyword research in different languages
Could anyone give me a little advice about the best way to do keyword research in different languages? French and Spanish specifically (unsurprisingly). Are there any tools or systems available that will give local language keyword variants on English keywords so that I can have a look at real world searches in local languages - rather than what I take to be the best translation (if that makes any sense). Where can I find lists of high probability of winning keywords
Keyword research can take a lot of time. Suppose you are not sure of what keywords you want to rank for but just want to see a list of phrases that have 500-5000 searches a day, low cost and low competition because you are looking for phrases that interest you for which it will be easier to rank close to #1 in google. Besides AdWords Keyword Tool, are there sites that specialize in this?

Unusual Words - How to Check what Google Recognises
I want to check which words Google is aware of, I remember Danny Dover talking about "SeoMoz.org" and theorising that Google couldn't understand that SEO was in the URL because it didn't understand that "Moz" was a word and therefore couldn't seperate the 2 words "SEO and "Moz" out. Any ideas, I thought about using Google Instant but as it comes up with "seomoz" when i type in "seom" so am assuming that this detail is taken from a diffrent source. Justin
