Finding long-tail keywords is essential for expanding your website's search visibility and capturing more targeted traffic. Here are some best practices to discover long-tail keywords effectively:Use Google Autocomplete and Related Searches:
Start typing your main keyword into Google's search bar, and observe the autocomplete suggestions that pop up. These suggestions are based on actual user queries and can provide valuable insight into long-tail variations of your primary keywords. Additionally, scroll to the bottom of the search results page to find the "Searches related to..." section for more keyword ideas.Analyze Competitors' Keywords:
Look at the keywords your competitors are targeting, especially those who are ranking well in your niche. Tools like Moz Keyword Explorer, SEMrush, or Ahrefs can help you identify the keywords your competitors are ranking for. Analyze their content and identify long-tail keywords they may be targeting.Utilize Keyword Research Tools:
Leverage keyword research tools such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest to identify long-tail keyword variations. These tools provide data on search volume, competition, and related keywords, helping you discover valuable long-tail opportunities.Explore "People Also Ask" Section:
When you search for a keyword on Google, you'll often see a "People Also Ask" section that provides related questions. These questions can be excellent sources of long-tail keyword ideas. Answering these questions comprehensively in your content can also improve your chances of ranking for them.Review Your Website Analytics:
Analyze the search terms that are already bringing traffic to your website. Your website analytics platform (such as Google Analytics) can provide valuable insights into the specific long-tail keywords that users are using to find your site. Optimize your content around these keywords to further enhance your visibility.Consider User Intent:
Focus on understanding the intent behind the search queries. Long-tail keywords often reflect specific user intents or needs. Tailor your content to address these intents effectively, providing valuable solutions or information to users.Long-Tail Keyword Generators:
Some tools specialize in generating long-tail keyword suggestions based on a seed keyword. These tools can be helpful when you're looking for more niche-specific or less competitive keyword variations.By incorporating these strategies into your keyword research process, you can identify a diverse range of long-tail keywords that can help attract targeted traffic to your website and improve your overall search visibility.
I'm keen on expanding my reach to include more long tail keywords. Check out our article on the best brother sewing machines at sewnscissors for further insights.

The best way to find long tail keywords is actually to start with the “head” keywords, and find out their related SEO inventory. If you’ve already started a startup or run an online business, then you probably have done some keyword research before. Put your keywords into the Google Search Console’s Keyword Planner and see how many searches they get. (Be sure to select “Exact Match” so you don’t include searches that include misspellings or synonyms.)
For example, let’s say I want to rank for the keyword phrase “weight loss". It's very hard to rank for such a phrase, so it's better to aim at longer phrases like "weight loss apps for android", etc.
At SUSO we usually focus on long-tail keywords and low-hanging fruits first, as they're the best place to begin rank spikes.

Relevant but not-relevant keywords impact to SEO
Hello, I would like to know if the selection of individual keywords(that are not primary, secondary or tertiary) are important for SEO regardless of the relevancy to the page topic. I am wondering how much of a contribution a non-P1/P2/P3 can make in terms of SEO? For example it is a product page and I have built my content with P1,P2&P3 based only on the product and its properties itself. Do you think that a content gap for the page could be the production process of that product? So even if it is a product and its properties page, I can add 2 sentences about the production, so that I can drive more traffic by including these 2 informative sentences.? EXAMPLE:
Keyword Research | | Siir
So lets' say my topic is "hair types" (P1) and my subtopics are "Straight," "wavy," and "curly"(P2s) which I used as subtitles. But throughout the page, I am planning to add some relevant but not-directly-relevant keywords here and there since they have high metrics and volumes. For example a potential sentence I can add: "innovative hair products these days can offer amazing results for the desired hair types". It is not specifically about "hair types" but I am using the keyword "innovative hair products" (good metrics keyword) which may help for the traffic... Another potential not-so-direct sentence can be: "For all hair types, the hair damages are common: heat damage, chemical damage and mechanical damage". Would adding this extra sentence where I am not specifically talking about "hair types" (my topic) but "hair damages" and damage examples (off-topic high metric keywords) help me to drive traffic to my website? And how much of an impact would it be?0 -

How accurate is Googles Keyword Planner?
I did some keyword research for our company. Some of the terms we got 100,000 search volume for in 2011 now have only 90 monthly searches. I am doing exact match for both US and Global and neither are any where near those high of numbers. Now I can't say how the old report on this was done but we are all a little skeptical of these numbers. Is there any other tool out there for search volume on Google? The Moz tool while it lists Google as an option only does Bing. Thank you!

What's your keyword research system?
What is your process for keyword research? I used Google's Keyword Research Tool for the bulk of my research in the past, so I'm pretty lost right now. However, I'm on the ground level of developing a content strategy for my company's website refresh, and this is a great chance to start from scratch with a sound process. The goal, of course, would be not to respond to keywords, but rather, letting holistic keyword research guide our content strategy. But obviously, I still want to grab low-hanging fruit where I can and beef up weaker parts of the site where possible. After reading Ruth Burr's excellent post last week, I'm testing a few tools, and so far am leaning toward Wordtracker for volume/competition data, cross-referenced with Moz's ranking reporting. However, I still need to check out SEMRush and get friendlier with Keyword Planner. I just want a little SEO angel to fall out of the sky and give me a recipe to follow. No? In case someone asks, my current goal is to identify our target audience's search habits to better reach them through content on our company website. While we serve several communities and do plan to geotarget, we're not there yet. So while I'm glad we have that option on Keyword Planner, there's not much I can do with it today.

What do broad match keywords represent?
Exact match is perfectly easy for me to get my head around - broad match, not so much! Take the phrase, "removing blueberry stains." Is the broad match data for this that I'm seeing in the Google keyword tool for searches that involve any of these particular words, in any phrase, in any order - just so long as they're all there? Any help with this concept would be much appreciated.

Does Bing/Yahoo have a keyword tool?
Just wondering if there is a Bing / Yahoo equivalent to this: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal ?? Would be nice to compare the different search patterns between the two search engines, without just assuming that the relative search volume on google for certain keywords is the same bing/yahoo.
