A web design/development/SEO agency might use various schema types to enhance their online presence and provide structured data to search engines. Here are some schema types they could utilize:

Organization: This schema type provides basic information about the agency, such as its name, logo, contact details, and social media profiles. Schema.org link: Organization.

WebPage: To mark up individual web pages on their website, providing details such as the page's URL, title, and description. Schema.org link: WebPage.

Service: To specify the services offered by the agency, such as web design, web development, SEO optimization, digital marketing, etc. Schema.org link: Service.

ContactPoint: This schema type is used to provide contact information, including phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses. Schema.org link: ContactPoint.

BreadcrumbList: To indicate the hierarchical structure of the website's pages, helping search engines understand the site's navigation. Schema.org link: BreadcrumbList.

By implementing these schema types, the agency can improve their website's visibility in search results and provide users with more informative and engaging snippets.

If you have a WordPress website, you can use SEO Yoast, to add schema, i think that is what we used on our Bristol summerhouse website.

A web design/development/SEO agency could use several types of Schema markup to enhance the visibility and understanding of their services on search engines. Schema.org provides structured data markup that helps search engines better understand the content and context of a webpage. Here are a few Schema types that such an agency might consider using:
Organization: This Schema type provides general information about the agency, including its name, logo, contact information, and social media profiles. It helps search engines accurately represent the agency in search results and knowledge panels.

WebSite: This Schema type is used to mark up information about the agency's website itself. It can include the site's URL, potential breadcrumb navigation, and site search functionality.

Service: The "Service" Schema type can be used to describe the various services the agency offers, such as web design, web development, SEO, digital marketing, etc. Each service can have its own set of details, including a description and pricing information.

LocalBusiness: If the agency has a physical location, the "LocalBusiness" Schema type can be used to provide details about the agency's address, opening hours, and geographic coordinates. This is particularly useful for local SEO.

Review: If the agency has received reviews from clients, using the "Review" Schema type can help highlight these reviews in search results. Positive reviews can enhance the agency's credibility.

FAQPage: If the agency has an FAQ section on their website, using the "FAQPage" Schema type can help structure the questions and answers in a way that search engines understand.

BreadcrumbList: If the agency's website has a clear breadcrumb navigation structure, the "BreadcrumbList" Schema type can help search engines understand the hierarchy of pages on the site.

A web design/development/SEO agency might use the "Organization" schema from schema.org. This schema helps define the agency's details, such as name, logo, contact information, and services offered. The schema.org link for the "Organization" schema is: https://schema.org/Organization

Depending on the content and structure of your website, a web design/development/SEO agency may use various types of Schema markup. You can use schema markups such as Organization, WebSite, WebPage, BreadcrumbList, ContactPoint, and Review.

Schema Markup Warning "Missing field "url" (optional)"

                  schema schema markup serp features

Hello Moz Team, I hope everyone is doing well & good, I need bit help regarding Schema Markup, I am facing issue in my schema markup specifically with my blog posts, In my majority of the posts I find error "Missing field "url" (optional)"
As this schema is generated by Yoast plugin, I haven't applied any custom steps. Recently I published a post https://dailycontributors.com/kisscartoon-alternatives-and-complete-review/ and I tested it at two platforms of schema test 1, Validator.Schema.org
                  2. Search.google.com/test/rich-results So the validator generate results as follows and shows no error
Schema without error.PNG It shows no error But where as Schema with error.PNG in search central results it gives me a warning "Missing field "url" (optional)". So is this really be going to issue for my ranking ? Please help thanks!

Are Wildcard Subdomain Hurting my SEO?

I have some sites with a lot of categories (category, sub-category, sub-subcategory) and locations (country, state/territory, city). To avoid listing pages really deep in my hierarchy I used wildcard subdomains for the locations, but lately I have been told that might be hurting my overall SEO efforts. I have a lot of URLs like https://city-state-country.example.com on one side of the domain and example.com/category/subcategory/subsubcategory on the other. In the middle you see stuff like city-state-country.example.com/category/subcategory/subsubcategory and everything in between. Would I be better off moving the locations to the right side of the domain name? Then you might find stuff like example.com/country/state/city/category/subcategory/subsubcategory and everything in between. I think I could do the new rewrite rules fairly easily since every country slug is just two characters long.

Has anyone seen a hospital system or medical clinic properly employ schema markup to their sites? This seems like very new territory, and we want to do it right by our client. Are there any best practices I need to look out for?

                  Schema description wordcount guidelines ?

Hi is there a wordcount guideline for the description field in Ravens schema creator ? according to their page on event schema an excerpt from the page will show up as a short description but then their tool has a field for adding a description! I was just adding some edited copy from the page into this but if it already pulls in an excerpt is there any need ? I take it its a good idea for better control of what's displayed in rich snippet, if so what's suggested wordcount limit ? cheers dan

Best SEO Extension/Plugin for NOPCommerce Site?

Hi I am working for a client who is using NOPCommerce.  It doesn't look like they have a SEO Plugin in - although you can add meta descriptions to Products - which works fine, the Product categories have SEO components too but do not seem to work and all 'other' content /CMS pages have no SEO components whatsoever.  Does anyone know of  a plugin which would resolve this? (PS never used NOPCommerce before!)

Does show/hide element with javascript impact SEO

Hi I am developing an ecommerce site and want to place text on all category and home page. The challenge is that 300 words of text for the pages does not fit into the design appropriately especially on the home page. If I were to use a show/hide element with javascript would this be seen as spam or a trick to the search engines. I do not think it is spam as it will be actual content for the site and the visitor can view it if they click on the show button. Would love to hear your thoughts?

                  Is an Overflow SEO friendly

Is an "overflow" (scrollbar) seo and Google friendly?  I only ask because it hides part of the visible text.
